I have surfed there a bunch. It is usually pretty mushy but it can get steep. The locals are super dicks that don't surf very well. Most of them can make a steep drop but that's about it. There are a couple rippers but not many. That spot isn't that hard to surf you just have to commit to paddling for the wave in the right spot or you will never catch anything. The spot just happens to be right above dry sucking rocks but it really isn't that hard of a drop. Be ready when the tide goes out

I grew up surfing on the north shore and I'm pretty good, not to be cocky, but I went out and surfed here a few months ago and it was absolutely insane... it's crazy.. the water's freezing, the waves are brutal.. it's no joke out there. these guys aren't kooks
Its big and sloppy as shit and by the looks of it the locals cant even fukin surf. Too cold and NOT worth the trouble, the novelty is great but thats about it..... quite boring actually.
They are obviously just local guys just trying to get some, but seriously that water is super cold, and they are wearing 6/4/3's with hoods and booties, the rip is super strong, and the hold downs even on a small day is as bad as Blacks on a big day there.
