@eatmypies I really don't understand the obsession with steam, the engine was designed to run on steam, yes, but there's no difference in practice between steam and air for demonstration purposes, and running on air is definitely easier on the engine. The fact that the engine COULD run on steam should be enough.

Yes, Wire up an electric heater to the water tank, all that comes out is steam, even in the exhaust.
