  • the 1970-1977 Mercury Capri was assembled in

    Cologne, Germany

    Saarlouis, Germany

  • My mate bought one of these us models in the uk a few years back, found out the V6 in it had 3 port heads instead of the usual 2 ports ala capri 2.8i.Mate put a 350 chevy in the capri and put the V6 engine on ebay and got £900 for it!!!(9x the usual price at the time).Buyer rekons the heads go for £1k each.mate gutted lol.As my story's over a 15 old, must be worth a fortune now.nice motor btw brings back memories...

  • These cars performance wasn't either well known or perhaps it was not a car that was highly sought after in California. I had the good fortune of owning one of these automobiles once and with some minor carb jetting, and a few other performance enhancing modifications, I was truly astounded at just how fast/and how well it handled. Talk about a trip down memory lane. Thanks for the video....

  • Best car I ever owned 76 V6 - awesome! Got it brand new off the lot... wish I still had it!

  • Great car, well done.

  • i loved my mom's 74 capri with the tiny racing wheel and original 2.4

  • this capri car is a good perfect taillights,,,

    two amber yellow light,

    two red lights,

    two white lights,,,

many bobcats and pintos cars are not have two amber yellow lights on the taillights,,,

    why is that

  • What a beauty!!! :-) I'm in love with the "sexy European!".

  • awesome car

  • sharp! very nice car, dont see many of them anymore

  • nether as Buick's Opel.

  • Great Capri, looks superb with the front bumper removed!

I'm gonna try that on my 1977 european Capri (the one with the square headlights).

Can anyone tell me the artist of the song please?

  • Re: Can anyone tell me the artist of the song please?

A: Jimi Hendrix - name of the song is Angel

  • Thanks, but I don't think it's the Hendrix version of the song! I think it's some other band covering it, so i'd like to know whose version this is!

  • Oops! you are right it's Jeff Healey. He does such a good job I thought it sounded like Hendrix.. LOL!

  • Thank you very much!

It's a great song, both the original and this version!

  • Very nice car

  • Capri II's styling has held up much better over time than other cars of the period. This one's a nice example - like the split-bumper mild custom job.

  • Capri II

  • had a 76
