  • Cruiser not a race car. West Palm Beach cruiser. Hot

  • I'm trying to find a 2002 c70 for my first car next year, wish I could get a new one but oh well, 2002 is great enough

  • @besteli1 i have a 2001 and i can say you are in for a treat, even though its a bit old

  • I have one from 2006, the only negative point is the very slowly automatic gearbox, except that is't I very nice car! :)

  • this ford's best design they should of never sold vovlo

  • One thing I have troubling finding out about this car is its reliability, I really want one but given that I'm driving an Acura right now I'm not likely to find something more reliable, so anyone had big problems with a Volvo, or a huge success story of no failures?

  • did he said 14 speakers ?!?! how is that possible ?!... wow that's a mobile club

  • old woman's car! =)

  • I rented this car while on a Business trip in San Diego. It was a blast!!!! I have BMW 840ci so I like a lot of torque and power, which this car does not have, but it peppy and fun to drive.

  • I bought a C70, 18 months ago and its a complete nightmare

10 faults on the car that volvo can't or wont fix

    the worst car EVER

  • my mom has this car and its fucking great

  • where's the actual trunk on that car? where would you put your belongings if there's an engine in the front of the car and the roof goes in the back of the car...

  • @lullemans72 There are two compartmens in the back, even with the roof down.

  • Are there pop-up bars in all four seats? I really hope so.

  • @tahj677 no, but the a pillars are reinforced

  • @tahj677 Of course not. Where the hell would you put pop-up bars for the front seats!? The windscreen combined with the pop-up bars create a safety zone around the occupants during a roll-over.

  • damn good video..

  • Can't wait to get this in 2012 :)

  • I like this car and the eos a lot so if i cant choose a car in a few months ill probbobly get one of theese

  • By having a 5 cylinder engine you easily avoid car use taxes on 6 cylinder vehicles. The c70 also uses 95 RON fuel, which will cost a bit more, but is made up in performance. substandard fuel may also be used in a pinch. the 12 year rust undercoating is also a bonus for people in cold climates. i love this car.

  • its not slow KBB of all people should know that its limited and tuned down because of emissions

  • Ooooo nice car! I love foriegn cars. D:

  • looks like a nice car all around. I really fell for the Infinity G37 but its like 10,000 more and I just don't see that much difference. Not crazy about owning another VW so this may fill the bill.

  • @verbusen both are nice cars in their own way, but there is a significant difference between the two. The G37 is rear wheel drive, has around 100 more horsepower, and is far more performance-oriented. The Volvo is front wheel drive and aims to be a more comfortable, relaxing ride. The G37 will put you on the edge of your seat; the Volvo, though comfy and commendable for other reasons, certainly won't.

  • I must get a used one in 2013, its like a transformer O.O

  • I must get a used one in 2013 :D

  • I'm sure that you all know that the chinese automaker Geely bought Volvo recently. People, don't freak out Volvo will still be made in Sweden and in Belgium and have its own board of directors so it will be Volvo's own thinking. And Geely will only be reciving parts and technologes from Volvo, not the other way around.

  • I want it so bad

  • YAY! Volvo's smaller and Swedish sister is saved! 1/29/10 Spyker bought Saab! Please also consider Saab if you're thinking of a Volvo (I own a Volvo) or if you already own a Volvo get its sister too! Think Swedish style and practicality wit a splash of Dutch crazyness! Yay for Volvo and Saab!

  • Who doesn't like leather seats? Apart from people who live in Arizona or other hot areas.

  • fuck infiniti

volvo or volkswagen is the way to go for a hard top

the only reason i hate infiniti is because they dont have a dealership where i live and the closest one is 2 hours away

  • lol

  • @elsalvador131993

Are you stupid? you can get cars delivered dumbass.

  • ya i know that but I dont wana drive 2 hours to the dealership to actually buy the car and then if something goes wrong and i need it replaced i dont wana go back to the dealership

  • Well I still think that the 740 is the best car ever!

  • I love this car!!!!!

  • Other than the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, this is the most desirable convertible for me. Obviously the big difference being that this seats 4 more comfortably than the Lambo seating 2. Plus the Lambo looks much worse with the top up (as if you would ever want to drive it that way). Price is a factor as well, but for the best looking car in the world you should expect to be spending a bit.

  • Americans can't drive..so wot the fuck judging about ANY European car...u can only talk some sense about those driving beds from Detroit made by White Degenerates and Niggers..cheers

  • I said this car is my second favorite convertible, and that I think the Murcielago Roadster is my favorite because of its looks. Why are you insulting the USA? You should calm down before my country sends our degenerates and niggers over there to embarrass whatever insignificant spec of land you think is great.

  • You do not. compare a volvo. to a lambo.

  • @o0Live2Partyy0o

and I suppose you can afford a lambo.

  • if you want a hardtob convertable, i recomend the Miata, cuz it gives you full storage space in the trunk whether the hard top is up or down. and its sporty as well, its not as much of a comfy ride, but its fun.

if you want a car thats got tons of space and is nice and is basically the same thing as this, try the Camry-Solara. they both have their differences but the solara is more affordable, and also again has more trunk space with the roof down.

but this is still a pretty great car.

  • miata is great if you're 5" 6' and 100lbs

  • ...and gay!

  • I'm a little surprised that reviewers are not mentioning some of the negatives, which I consider significant. For example, with the top down, the rear seat belts flap loudly at high speed. Also, the car really has WEAK acceleration... much more than you might expect, so be prepared for that. The middle storage section that is behind the radio is VERY difficult to reach and store anything there. Overall, it's a great, fun car, but far from perfect.

  • but thats why theres the wind shield thing right??

  • Sorry, what?

  • im so getting this :)

  • HOW MUCH WIL THIS COST IN 2012 ? If It Was Used

  • It really depends on the model. But most likely it would lose about 40-percent of its value in three years.

  • Okay Thank You So Much :)

  • @kbb Will the cost of ownership of a 2007 Volvo C70 be lower than a 2004 BMW 3-series Convertible? Or higher?

  • I just bought a 2006 model on ebay for $21500, almost mint condition but not quite. That's a much better deal than my local dealers were offering.

  • is that when you turn 16?

  • yeah (A)

  • @Anton4223 you can get one for about $22K now, so probably another $5K off from that by 2012

  • @Anton4223 Depends. If you were to get a used 2008 then around 24,000 the new one will be around 40. My mum just got one today :)

  • This competes with the 1 series also

  • someone ever notice that the rims of the c70, s80 & xc90 r using the same rims???

  • Standard features include air conditioning w/dual-zone climate controls, tilt/telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls, cruise control, 8-way power front seats, memory system, 6-disc CD changer, outside-temperature indicator, and power-retractable hardtop.

  • looks like a r34 skyline in front

  • Oh im getting 2 volvos and configuring the C30 engine to the C70 to give it a turbo charged power. I will also switch out the axels and wheels to accommodate the power and the C70's lightweight design will add to the SPEED and Performance.

  • id only get a C30 if i was asured i could turn it over to rear wheel drive. and as far as power a 940Turbo or a 850R could out run this car

drove the C30 as soon as it got into showrooms and was largly disapointed after fallowing the consept of the car for two years... its just weak, but i do love the look,

    needs more power and RWD

  • Thanks for the advice and information. :)

  • oh and the C30 dose have a SMALL turbo

  • Incredible.

  • Very nice car and you gotta love that it's a hard top convertible with a real glass rear window.......all I can say is WOW

  • :) LOVE.

  • Wish I could afford a Volvo.

  • You probably can, if you want to go back a few years. Locally, there is a '99 C70 convertible for sale at $7500 and an '04 C70 convertible for $10,500. I'm going to look at them tomorrow!

  • and you get to use your trunk when you put down the top becuse the 99 is a sort top, engine still needs help

  • @LeeDrastl I know, right .. I could probably buy one, but I could pay the insurance because it's sky high on Volvo's.
