There's community service, personal life story, your essays, among other things. Even if it was affirmative action, was it the President's fault that Harvard did that? Affirmative action and diversity requirements gets minorities into positions they would have never held otherwise unless they had equal or greater performance than everyone else. When I step onto a plane and see a black pilot, I don't think "wow, this airline has great racial diversity." I wonder what he scored on his pilots exam, no matter what race he is. I did not know this about Obama. I supported him in 08, but as of now it looks like he may have lied and/or just been in over his head. It's too early to say for sure.
