  • It says for sale. Is it still?

  • @Isaico11 sold awhile ago

  • FUCK YOU WMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @317stinky WMG...you just lost another sale! (think of the BIG picture)

  • it looks like it used to be a beautiful car what are you doin with it restoring it?

  • NICE

  • che si alguien entiende en castllano..Cual tiene mejor sonido con respecto al motor: El 71 o el 70?

  • my dad has a 71 superbee doesn't run quite as well as your's though :]

  • Oh did you know the dukes of hazards general lee was a 68 charger..

  • a 69 charger ya mean...

  • Nope thats what most people think... in the really dukes of hazzards the original it was a 68, no in the new movie,, thats a different thing they had 69 chargers 68 chargers and some early 70's chargers.. i know what im talking about

  • wat did they do swap the grilles out of the 68's and 70's

  • 69 has split gril so does the general lee wich is why it a 69 68 no center pece wich is why its not.

  • @MovieMakerKeith The Dukes of Hazzard used 68,69 and 70 chargers, all modified to look like a 69. But the general lee was suposed to be a 69.

  • damn shame you had to sell it, such a fine piece of machinery, what did it do down the quarter mile?

  • 14.447 down the quarter. I don't know the speed

  • hey keith did u have it run strictly on race gas ?

  • nice car! sucks you sold it, i got a true 71 superbee im trying to restore, its a mission though so i know how hard it is to restore, but i got no kids and i got time

  • man this is stright out of Joe Dirt- I love it!!!

  • hey I live u movie maker keith I live in massachusetts

  • In the immortal words of George St Pierre " I was not impressed by your performance."

  • it would run fine on e85 straight from the pump I am getting ready to pull my ls1 and increase the compression to about about what that was to take full advantage of the higher octane of the e85

  • Did you sell it? It was definably restorable. What a classic!

  • Yes we sold it, Restoration would have been expensive, and the engine (12.5:1 Compression) would have to be seriously detuned to be driveable on the road. The current owner sold the body but kept the drivetrain and is detuning it.

  • what kinda asshole guys a Superbee and sells the body. id skin him alive for that shit. nice car btw. doesnt need to do that. its ready to go dammit.. ppl are retarded

  • shit, that's what i'm driving on the road right now

  • were was he taking it??

  • Mopar or no car

  • perfect song 4 vid

  • Most of my Mopars were so rusted out, they took a "Slow Ride" on a flatbed to the Junkyard. :-(

  • Hey, is this the car in Londonderry????? If so, you live down the street from my friend, I remember seeing this back in my high school days!

  • Yeah it is, Who are you and your friend? I might know you guys

  • Naw you don't know us! It was back in 94/96 when I saw it (I think) I used to visit my friend Matt Provencher (lives near the intersection.) I wasnt really into cars until after that, I moved to S.E.Mass - now I got two mopars of my own. But that car stuck out in my mind - I used to think - gee I wonder if the guy is gonna do anything with it?? Glad to see you are! Maybe i'll catch you at NEDragway mopar show this year?!

  • Sounds like you have a leaky header

  • yes indeed

  • This sucks man my engine starting burning a little bit of oil. Sounds like you have a valve tick. Try lowering the idle a lot also. ROYAL PURPLE 4-LIFE!

  • Cool car man!

Sounds a bit bad but still its a classic!

To bad íts an auto tranny

  • i guess after putting all that money in your new truck you couldnt afford to restore the charger?...lolhonestly in my opinion if you owned it for that long you could of kept to restore as a long term project?but i guess having it as long as you did and probably thinking of it as a part of the family that giving away 1 of your "kids" is a good thing right...?????

  • it dosnt look that good and runs bad BUT its a mopar

  • hahahahahaha rednecks. get turbo power! FUCK V8S!

  • WHy have a shitty sounding jap car that soudns like a bee in a tin, when V8's sound so much cooler!!! And Im no redneck!!

  • you obviously havn't heard many jap cars then.

  • Oh no Ive heard loads... plus in a something like a turbo'd supra(dont get me wrong i like them), you get fuck all power till the turbo kicks in. V8's are naturally ALOT more torquey due to the way they are shaped and how the pistons act on the crank. hence alot more usable power. why do you think most production sports cars have V's in them whether they are US or European (gotta love TVR's). Plus in my opinion they just sound alot more powerful.

  • This isnt the best sounding V8 IMHO, sounds a bit rough.

  • Yeah that's because of a header leak which makes the clapping sound. Sounds pretty good from the back though.

  • Turbo's aren't limited to just jap cars. Many new turbo cars eliminate the problem of turbo lag with lighter internals or variable vane geometry (porsche 911 turbo). Peak torque in the 997 arrives at 1500rpm. The technology in these American v8s is outdated and the mantra of "the bigger the better" is just stupid in this day and age. Compare the Audi 4.2 FSI V8 with the LS7. The 4.2L gets 309kw, and the 7.0L 373kw. Only 64 extra kw from 2.8 more L? come on...

  • Fair point!

I prefer older cars though... to me they have something that newer cars dont.

  • true, but if it's old cars you like why not go for a bit of class - I'll have the aston martin thankyou :P

  • Lol. Yea if I had the cash!! Im currently in the process of titivating a Reliant Scimitar GTE. Not the prettiest or fastest car in the world. But its cheap insurance, I rebuilt the 3.0L V6 to fast road spec, sounds good, looks good. And I love it;)!

  • Nice! My girlfriend's Dad is into renovating old Mercs, he's currently putting the finishing touches on a 560SEL - it has a thumping great 5.6L V8 in it ... I have to admit, there is a certain feeling you get with one of those monstrous cars that you don't get with modern cars. I have a project car at the moment, its a version 9 wrx STi (Subaru), It's pusing out around 483hp ... aiming for 550hp though!

  • sounds like a rod knocking

  • I've got a '73SE in pieces in my garage. I've owned it since 1980 & won't part with it. LOL Used to own a '74 that I beefed up nicely, but a girlfriend totaled it back in '85. That still kills me thinking about it.

I'm sure it was a heartbreaker to part with this.

  • id cry if my dad sold his charger

  • i take that lasty comment back u did sell it lol i just got thru watching the video but u dont deserve the right to own a dodge period.

  • it had a for sale sign in the front window so im guessing u sold it?

if so ur an idiot and dont deserve the right to own a dodge lol nice cummins also

  • Man, sold for $2000. Where I live every MOPAR is like $17000 plus. GM cars are cheaper and much more plentiful, but it's a MOPAR that I really want. I could not get myself to purchase a Ford.

  • needs some big work

  • I woulda given u 4 grand for it

  • I got a brand new 440 that was in the Superbird. How much would you pay for that? Just go to my channel to see the Superbird video.

  • you mean the motor? i meant the whole car :-D sry matey

  • how much? seriously im looking for a god project car

  • sounds sad

  • why u selling it dude

  • foghat is sweet..Mopar is the shit..best cars out there..i have a 73 Dart sport 318/727 and a 225/904..couldnt be happier

  • This is a madness ;))) i love muscle cars

  • I love this video everything about it totaly Badass Slow ride just flawless!

  • 25000 car in need of a mopar lover! sorry u lost your love it must hurt!

  • beautiful car

  • ill buy it for 2500

  • how high is the compression ratio? sounds good once the idle smooths out

  • 12:1

  • Please tell me that Dodge truck is a diesel :)

  • sorry, it's just a truck that lost fifth gear at 50 miles. click "more from this user" in the sidebar to see ti being rebuilt. It's called diamler chrysler sucks.

  • enjoyed the video, but feel you let her go cheap hope you get another in the near future

  • you gave it away especially if it was a true superbee!! you should have kept it!!!!i would have loved it!!!

  • it wasn't a true super bee, it was modded into one. But my dad did own it for 26 years
