I love this toy, with the automorph that scews up his feets posebility and weapons that only fire when combined (in a very movie-inaccurate way) and the light-piping that barely works :D

i use clever little tricks to make my TFs shine with the glossy gloss... all from household things but not in the way like blue peter where you don't have them at all unless you have a home crafts business but that's another rant...

a bit of guitar polish [cuz i have a electric guitar lying around] and some fixative... well hairspray cuz my art teacher said to use it instead for my pics cuz it's a fraction of the price and just as effective... and also a £1 acrylic set...

i dont own any premium or those stupid name repaints like nightwacth optimus, but i do have all the figures including store exculsives and the movie european and asian promotion movie Swerve. but i really hope in ROTF they will get rid of premuiems

I've almost bought him several times, hehe.

I think he's a great Premium-style deal if you have the cash- the metallicness is nice to look at in person.

Yeah, i originally just picked him up cause he was dirt cheap and wasn't selling too well *Think he only ran me about 10-15 bucks?*

He isn't perfect *the shoulder panels pop off, the missles in the hands have an awkward firing mechanism, ect.* but compared to the original paint scheme, what a tremendous improvement =]

I suppose he is indeed nice - and I agree that the others look a bit underwhelming overall. I might get him. I just might. The recommendation of Vangelus weighs quite heavily on my nerdy soul.

I have not seen any of the Premium figures but Ironhide does look good but I also want to see Premium Jazz in robot mode to see if he is worth buying. Awesome review Boyo:)
