Im might get a wintec saddle for christmas and i dont own a horse so would i still have to measure the withers of the horse i ride? because i change horses a lot
i wouldnt get a saddle yet, because every horse is different, and the chance that you have to change the gullet for almost every horse is pretty high...just think of buying shoes, everyone needs a different size and if the shoe doesnt fit, we dont want to walk...same with the horses..
I have heard that the CAIR pannels are like a baloon and they make your horse worse. I have heard wintecs actualy dont fit well at all! But idk I might still get one. I need one for lessons, and im really needing something cheap. I want to do eventing!
i just got a collegiate diploma easy change gullet and it has been horriible to switch gullets. has anyone else had this trouble? Is it a break-in kinda thing?
but which one do you think is all over better cuz im gonna be jumping and just hunters but not alot of jumping... and i have a pony so i want it too look good on her.
I have just purchased the WIDE version of this saddle. Its a fab saddle to ride in and the gullet system is great!!! Its really stiff to do at first but the more you do it the more willing the saddle lets you change the gullet bars. A brilliant invention!!!

The flaps are much more forward on a Jumping or a Close Contact Saddle. That's probably going to be one of the biggest differences.
