  • That car is not a sports car, cant kill anyone....

  • Can someone build an mx5 type of car for tall drivers???

  • @richrdroma I'm 6' 2'' and my roadster choice is an S2000, I fit fine; but remember, you're always going to have people who have more leg length or more torso length, so it really depends on you're personal height.

  • @blondienirvana Yeah I'm 6'5 and fit ok in most regular mid sized cars and even some small sized cars because they allow the seat to be pulled back a long way and I can also lean back a long way if needed. And I'm confortable with that position. But roadsters are two seaters and less flexible with the seats.

  • @richrdroma I know this is a little extreme but Porsche for me and many others is a great tall person car. the tallest person in my family is 6' 7" and he fits (all be it with a lot of adjusting) great in a 911. If you can, check one out man; another great drivers car.- Ian

  • Yes, A Miata is not a good choice if it would be your only car. Its not that its not totally reliable, but after a number of months, its small interior seems to wear out its welcome. However, Miatas are a great second car, probably one of the best choices for a second car, a fun car, a weekend car, a true sports car. The car also returns around 30 mpgs, and it is quite fast running about the same 0 -60 times as one of those overweight, ill handling american mustangs with a big V8 gas hog engine.

  • Miata aka A Perfect Second Car

  • @LoveShock2 I know round people from your place as well. Just as many maybe more. But that's nether here nor there...Has nothing to do with the car. V-nice indeed. yl

  • he sounds so whiney

  • I love miatas one of two more balanced cars in the world. Check mine

    "rx8 mx5 my sport cars"

  • I love my Mx-5, so fun to drive and so good looking :)

  • @LoveShock2

lol, give it time my Italian friend.

Though I hope you guys maintain your food culture, thats a boon for us American when we come visit.

  • @LoveShock2

Actually many European countries are getting fatter and fatter. You'll be there soon enough.

  • don't get wrong guys the miata is a hell of a car but i couldnt imagine dropping 31k thier is just to many cars with better performance it that price range now if i could get the gt hardtop for 21k then hell yeah but 31k is just to much for this car

  • @dcin1

i'd say wait, the next generation mazda is going to be a lot smaller, and as light as possible, around 2200 pounds, first ever mazda fuel injected engine, and it will have a pretty aggressive look.

  • @dcin1

I agree, 31k is too much. You can get a base 370Z for 29k

  • They neeeeeeeeeeeeeeedd to put the Speed 3 engine in it. In fact Mazda should include the speed 3 engine in all mx5s. That would really make the car fun!

  • I bought a 99 Miata today, replacing my 95 Vette.

The response and handling between the two is amazing. Miata!

  • territory! omg

  • Its a pretty neat little car. As far as power & performance go, the latest Miata should cover the 1/4 mile in about 15.5 sec. The almighty 426 Hemi Road Runner did it in 13.5 as tested by Car & Driver back in the day. Plus the Miata would match a 1970 383 Road Runner. Not bad for a lil putt putt car, plus Mr. Miata goes around corners too !

  • he should have said territory a bit more

  • Very nice car.

  • I didn't know Napoleon Dynamite did video reviews!

  • i cant believe im getting this car in two weeks whoooooooooo

  • @yunhra1 im getting mine in 3 days

  • @yunhra1 Can't believe im getting my s2000 in 2 days! yippie!

  • haha yea, but you have to consider how light it is. my friend's 08 miata goes 0-60 in 5. Not sure if its stock though...

  • no way its stock...

  • cool

  • that guy is such a looser

  • This is directed to all sports car manufacturers: please do not tailor-make small sportscars for very tall people or very large people. Those of us in the 5'6" to 5'10" range would still like a tight fitting driver's car, not a boat or a huge coupe.

    Thank you kindly.

  • This thing was the best selling sports car in history.

  • Great machine

  • awesome, how much is it?

  • i agree, but i love the car itself.

  • This is a neat little convertible! I've always liked it better than the Solstice and Sky.

  • I never looked at the sky but i have to disagree...i beleive the solctice (mind my spelling) is a very nice car as welll and runs a little less then the grand touring miata

  • I love the Solstice and Sky. I just like the Miata better.

  • Plus you have more piece of mind that your miata will last much longer. Not to say that american companies are horrible at reliability, it's just that the japanese do a much better job in that area.

  • Like Toyota's 12 recalls since 2005? Reliability changes over time.

  • oh yeah.. good point

  • 166 hp from a 2-liter is pretty damn impressive.

  • and 232 from a 1.3l is Crazy!

    (Rx-8)

  • but that's a rotary.. hey that's a good point though! what about a 6 liter rotary engine? haha!!!

  • OMG!

    hahaha!

    i would buy two!.

    lol

  • and must have always with you some gallons/littres of gas

  • LOL!

  • you could tow a trailer of gasoline tanks behind you

  • 3 lol.....

  • We have a 1990, his and a 2001, hers.

  • good show, poor casting. find a host with more charisma

  • Good camera views but the reviewer needs more experience

  • Great review! One of the best reviewers by far on youtube, and all the info was pertinent without any comedy or acting fluff. Great job!

  • and how many tons does that weigh??

  • Try 1 and a half (less than 2600 pounds)

  • I've got one, great car!

  • make a video for the Mazda 3 hatchback!!! ive been waiting for a long time, with weisenfed or w/e his name is, hes the best 1
