  • boring and unattractive

  • @knowingElvis - Elvis make it through time...like Beethoven, Satie, or Debussy...easily. Not to worry.

  • Awesome! One of the best live performances ever captured...

  • Wow. Mark Lindsay, the lead singer of Paul Revere and the Raiders at 0:34.

  • @knowingElvis HEY, I"M A HUGE FAN AND HAVE BEEN SINCE I was 4 years old and first heard him on the radio singing " That's All Right , Mama " when it was released on July 5,1954 ! I'm now 60 years young and I'm far from being Dead and I'm Not Alone ! There are still quite a few of us Older and Original Fans around that were there from the Beginning of the Start of His Amazing Career and the Birth Of Rock 'n Roll !

  • @Elvis4Ever82 What is a " Melungeon " ? Never heard that word before! Is that Something that You came up with ?

  • i here theres something a brewing down in san diego involving elvis, a charger lightning bolt and T.C.B...stay tuned

  • I saw him again this morning in the supermarket. He's alive I tell ya!

  • @knowingElvis I couldn't agree with you more! Elvis had a voice and an on stage presence that no one before or since has ever had. A big part of his incredible on stage presence was his charisma and amazing connection with the audience.

  • Is John Wilkinson dead now, also? You never hear of him and he wasn't part of the re-united TCB band.

  • @downholestimulator No he isn't dead, he still does fan conventions etc....

  • @downholestimulator John Wilkinson suffered a debilitating stroke some years back and is unable to play. As far as I can find, he did not die.

  • Phenomenal. The remastered version that was released in 2001 is uncut. This version of Mystery Train is the best representation of Elvis I can find.

  • I have this video at home and i really like it . too bad my elvis videos are too long i'd share it on you tube. thanks. A+

  • Elvis is a God. Even in death he remains powerful. If he were alive today and wanted to be president instantly, I reckon he could.

  • maravilloso!! viva el rey

  • excelente Elvis el N° 1 "VIVA ELVIS"

  • did u know that the man behind elvis .was a dutchmen?

and that made him also big !! (contract's andso..)

  • Elvis could had better things without colonel Parker, he tied him to a contract that kept him out of the road and the stage for nearly 10 years. During the mid to late 60's he was tired of acting in movies that had almost the same plot, and had no actoral value at all.

In the beginning, 68' comeback special was about to be a christmas special (arranged by Parker with NBC) but Elvis meet the producer and they changed the format to the great concert he did.

  • If you see, when Elvis got more independence out of his contract for the success of the special he did better things like Charro!, one of his last movies that turn into a great western, but Parker still had influence (I heard he kept him from play the role of Tom Hagen in The Godfather).

  • Then Elvis went to Las Vegas and reinvented himself.

Another thing to say is that Elvis only did one international performance in Canada but none on the rest of the world beacuse Parker was residing ilegally on the U.S. and could be deported to The Netherlands.

So concluding the truth is that Parker used Elvis only to earn money, and his career was great only beacuse he had great talent. Parker just gave him bad times from the mid 60's to the end.

  • Andreas Cornelius van Kuijk (or Thomas Andrew Parker in USA)

  • agree with roellieee

  • @Elvis4Ever82

No offence but that's just a load of crap. Elvis might be the only one that changed something in the whole world, but than again, every musician does. The others you named were important (and American's cant hear that enough) for the US. Elvis 2.0 - connecting people.

  • I know....I'm so in love with him
