The audio sounds great but take a closer look. See the 1/4" connectors on the digimax's. That means that they are bypassing the preamps on the digimax's and using the 1/4" line in for a/d conversion. What does this mean: They are obviously using external preamps. But what we really want to know is the quality of the preamps on the digimax. This video shows how well this unit can record 32 channels of audio into a DAW via firewire and optical cable. It does not showcase the sound of the preamps.

Yes, you can use the interface with Logic, Sonar, DP, Cubase, Nuendo, etc. Everything except ProTools.

Im still not understanding the point of the lightpipe. If you can daisy chain multiple FS, then why connect them into the lightpipe?
