Yes, it's a lovely road, but treacherous, not enough room on either side. If you go through Kinlochleven, the road back to Glencoe on the other side is also spectacular, and not as dangerous lol, beautiful view of the other side of the mountains. Incidentally, I lived there twenty years, still miss the beautiful scenery.

Not at all. Look carefulyl and remember my eyes are 3 feet above the camera. At 6:50 I am wide of the centre line looking past the LEFT side of the van. I see the car coming and move left. I am on the centre line whilst the car is still next to the van and by the time the car passes me I am central in the lane. Watch it frame by frame.
Been down this road loads..one of the best in Scotland..Even better coming out the other side at the bridge..superb. what people don't see is the huge drop the other side of the barrier. nice one..
@bigzed1 I love this road. Can be fun in a car too, cooked the brakes on my 3.2 Vectra down here ;) That drop, oh yes. You really don't want to go off the edge....
you should go to the Kilchoan Motorbike rally (Antler Rally, Loch Lomond Motorcycle club) Also, just wondering how exactly do you film this? I am interested in getting a camera for my bike but, it'd have to be large storage as I travel for logn distances at a time usually. thanks
Think I may have passed that rally on the way back from this trip, hundreds of bikes down at the Green Welly?
Remote camera mounted down near the front wheel on the inside of the front fairing, wired to a canon video camera in a tank bag, LANC connector velcroed on top to turn it on and off. Each tape lasts an hour or so. Remote camera powered from the bike battery, canon via it's own batteries (pre-charged collection in the tank bag).
yeah there are loads of bikes at the green welly usually
Thanks for the info, i shall contact a friend who knows a lot more about them than me and get him to find these things online for me thank you very much
pete, brillinat footage and just the right music too. Cant wait to get back up from Devon in May and have another go at this one, Mel
