Je me souviens que pour l'anniversaire de mes 10 ans, j'écoutais cette chanson dans le train pour aller jusqu'à Bordeaux...Cette chanson est vraiment magnifique ! This is music of the soul. Brezhoneg is a celtic language spoken in the northwest of France, and it predates the French language by millenia. My Grandmother who was Breton (as it is called in French) learned French in school. The French government tried to eradicate the language, but they failed, and now there are Diwan schools that teach in Breton across Breizh/Bretagne/Brittany. My mother understands the language, but doesn't speak, which is a shame, I only know a few words. Breizh Ma Bro!
