Ack sorry to hear about your foot - but congrats on no surgery!!! I had to quit smoking for surgery as well (gained 30 lbs - lol) so it can be hard when your stress level spikes.
Congrats on the weight loss - you're losing at a really good pace. I also lost a whole mess on Atkins and subsequently gained it back once I discovered shortbread cookies at Christmas. You advice is sound on moderation with carbs :)
