This arrangement is right in line with Marcello's practice at the cathedral in Venezia, ITA (which, as I understand things, has organs in four locations, permitting antiphonal use).
@bcschmerker Venezia (Venice in English) has as its cathedral San Marco, which is over 1,000 years old and was the church that Andrea and Giovanni Gabriel composed their brass works for around 1600. It's quite a site, and it would be wonderful to hear this and the Gabrieli's music performed in that splendid place.
Excellent, and thank you, bishfan.
