  • ha! as if i'd let them drill my ball at the factory.. fuck that.

  • Um... There are a lot more kind of cover stocks and poly urethane is not popular....

  • do people just dislike becos thr diks or do thy actaully have a reson

  • 2:15 They wnat there balls to have a special smel....lol

  • I LOVE Bowling

  • Interesting

  • LOL keep pressing 6.

  • @uberkewlmedia

    lol xD

  • Anyone who uses a weight plate in their bowling ball can't bowl.

  • 0:57. No wonder why i cant fucking bowl straight.

  • "Homer. Did you polish your head in the Shine-O-Ball-O?"

  • 7 for indian people and 8 for white

  • 3:36 "I hate my job"

  • 4:54 God damn that would be so excruciating to watch.

  • But how do they know where that puck like thing that helps bowlers curve their shot ends up if it gets all covered up? Or does its position not matter?

  • @vitruvian8807 The'yve missed quite a bit of detail in this. Take a closer look and you'll see a yellow dot about 3/8" across on the surface of these balls. That's the riser pin which locates the centre of the ball core. That pin can be located in relation to a player' axis of rotation to create a larger or smaller "wheel" within the ball. Larger distances rev up slower, smaller ones faster. It's a lot more complex than that, but I'm sure you get the idea.

  • @JasonDoust Also, they don't drill the holes at the factory.. that is the job of your local pro shop operator. And i highly doubt that they actually used metal for the weight blocks...

  • @BowlerX0001 you can have the ball drilled at the factory but i wouldnt trust them that much

  • so much sexual innuendo xD

  • 2:07 who doesn't want their balls to smell good?

  • Comment removed

  • here is a question for them, if they have to weight exactly 10.71 pounds no more no less.....then how do we have 5 and 8 pound bowling balls??? lol

  • each year half a million bowling balls????? o.0 why??? and the already made balls???? broken???? o.0 in 2020 the world is gonna be full of bowling balls xD

  • i like how it says here in the USA with a GB flag in the top left ;)

  • @speedyduck38 Narrator meant the location of where they were when the video was shot.

  • Stop everything, I don't remember writing a cheque for bowling!

  • that was a load of balls

  • i thought was like making pins instead

  • Bergune-bergune..huuhuu....

  • Bawls to you

  • 5:08 Who is this gorgeous lady... RAWR lol

  • Everyone's shots are curved on a cruise ship?! Man, that stinks! Cruising sounds less exciting to me now. It ruins your shots. Of course, it's better than the alternative shown for specially made billiards tables on cruises.

  • come smell my balls. my bowling balls!!!

  • They never send out a ball pre-drilled. Fitting to the hand is what your Pro shop tech does. There's no way to possibly have enough different balls made for so many different sized hands.

  • The only bowling balls that are drilled before hand (to my knowledge) are the pathetic ones sold without pro shop customizing.

  • JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ TO THE FUCKING KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK ITS A JOKE GUYS CALM THE FUCK DOWN

  • why are they all mexicans?

  • at 2:48 you can see a mold being mechanically removed by a woman

  • They don't put metal in the ball as mentioned at 0:54, that would be against USBC regulations.

  • @GStricke prove it

  • @viperz888

Taken from the USBC 2010 Equipment and Specfications manual pdf (google it).

    Material:

    3. The density of any piece/component in a ball (i.e.: core,

coverstock, weight block, etc.) shall not exceed

3.80 g/mL (i.e.: no pure metals or high density materials).

    Devices:

Removable devices shall be permitted, provided:

    2. Are constructed of a non- metallic material.

  • the hot rod is the exact ball i use now and the tropical heat... both balls are great!

  • 3:38 this must be the strongest girl in this factory

  • @almo119 I don't get it....

  • @illiteam

cause' she lifting all the balls... lol

  • "This Machine shapes the ball with out removing a lot of resin."

and it takes a good half inch (1cm) of.

  • @luigi90900 That is probably the least amount needed to be taken off judging by the extreme ridges and valleys present on the surface of the rough ball.

  • boobies

  • what about bowling balls that weigh less than 10 lbs.

  • I LOVE BOWOLING!!!!!!

  • lol

some bowlers want their balls to have an individual smell

  • Why are all the comments so serious? It feels like this video actually isn't fake while reading those comments...

  • SUBBED!

  • 3:05 "so the mould can be mechanically removed"... Lol are Asians not even human anymore

  • Does the balls realy smells? I just smell the oil.

  • wow i so did not know this. before this video i thought that its just a dam ball

  • i wish there was a bowling ball that smelt like chocolate

  • @jlpotticary THE ONLY BALL THAT STORM PRODUCED THAT SMELLED LIKE CHOCOLATE WAS THE "X-FACTOR"... THE X-FACTOR WAS A GREAT BALL

  • I thought they occurred naturally in nature ?

  • @jumpdance24 On a bowling ball tree?

  • Comment removed

  • Those are some big balls O.o

  • I like that they have let some machine sounds come along in this one!

  • wow, i have a hybrid and am very surprised to see that this ball was featured in this video... its a pretty random ball to have but i love the smell... cinnamon apple is my all time favorite scent from storm... as for the ball itself, it died... its basically my spare ball...

  • I so want to work there....I wonder if the employees occasionly get given one (a factory second). I reckon you'd end up with a few over a year.

  • ...God bless to all hard working people in the bowling balls factories :)

  • around 3:39, she looks like she hates her life, lmao

  • i love my storm bowling ball

  • thank u for not telling me how the core gets in

  • I have a Storm Fast, Cherry smell...love it!!!!!

  • the finger holes are drilled at proshop.. not at factory...

  • @manmac82 they're probably referring to the balls that are pre-drilled... some places stock pre-drilled balls for an extra fee... which i think is ridiculous.... paying for a generic, poor quality drilling..,

  • 0:08 could have shown someone getting a strike... just a suggestion.

  • oh snap, 7/10 split :D

  • Nothing aginst storm bowling balls because I know that they have good performance and all, but compared to the video of Ebonite's factory and there process, it looks like storm is sloppy while making there balls.

  • i love every one of my storm balls!

  • wow thats amazing this is my favorite sport

  • For a moment I thought they were making fake boobs. They look about as hard and round as bowling balls.

  • Don't bowl much, but I sure love to know how things are made.

  • An inaccurate video. This clip makes it look like the finger holes are drilled into the ball at the factory and shipped that way. You actually would buy an undrilled ball at a local pro shop and then the driller at the shop measures your finger and thumb size and your finger span and drills the holes for you for a custom fit. There are cheaper balls that are drilled for a universal fit at the factory but if you are the slightest bit serious about bowling, you wouldn't buy one of these.

  • those look like some of the unhappiest workers on the planet

  • Wouldn't you be if you worked in a bowling ball factory? It doesn't exactly look like the most exciting job in the world.

  • Michael Moore at 2:44

  • the twelve pound balls are perfect size for my fingers, but the ball is too heavy. what should i do

  • if you like bowling, buy your own ball and have it drilled for your fingers. this way you can have what weight you want and you fingers will fit.

  • Get it custom-made. It will be more expensive but pays off later on.

  • 4:08 - balls are touching ^^

  • @sockerarsle you are very gay !!

  • Storm ball performance are great. But the looks and the color are awful!. They should hire some artist or someone who knows how to color theme to make their balls look attractive and cool.

  • i would really like to go to that first bowling alley

  • The american way of production xD

But the Balls are great.... Storm, Hammer and Co

    I love Bowling =)

  • i like lighter balls

but the holes are too small for my thumb

my mom says i cant have a customised ball

    what to do?

  • @VirtuaLcUb3 Work and buy your own ball.

  • Save up your money and buy one yourself. Work hard and buy what you want with your own money. Thats what i would do, or ask your mother why she wont allow you to own your own ball. ask her if she would enroll you into a league so that way you can learn team work, hand eye cordination ect... hope this helps buddy

  • my storm has a fish smell on the finger hole go figure!!

    - -)

  • @dragonbytesdf

No, you're MOM must of been using it without my permission!

(no wonder she/he has underware with dick holes in them!!!)

  • That figures, a british wanker trying his best at insulting comenters on youtube, congrats!

P.S This isn't grammar school it's youtube moron. Epic fail on you're part yes you're!!!

  • @MSN50

    Still not insulted.

  • my storm secret agent has a plum smell and it last for like ever ive been bowling with it for like 3 years and it hasent lost it's smell

  • It's a shame they have to drill holes into that polished ball. I want one with no holes--makes a nice ornament.

  • I have a Storm bowling ball and mine is the Spit fire which has a Apple Cinnamon smell to it also I heard if you smell your storm ball before you bowl a frame it helps you relax and bowl better.

  • I love bowling ..........

  • I just love the scent on a bowling ball!

  • @MrBowler17888 mmmmm i had a peppermint one

  • Bowling has just as much precision manufacturing as golf. This video hardly scratches the surface about different balls and how they react on the lane. The science of bowling ball cores and coverstocks is incredibly precise. Please don't insult what you don't understand.

  • @bowlingwaldo

This video was made for children- one would think it is as much about bowling balls as a 10 year old needs to know. Give them a break.

  • @bowlingwaldo dude just shut the eff up

  • @wolfmang22 Seriously, some bowling balls are scented. Mine actually smells like tropical fruit, no joke.

  • the balls dont have holes i it you make the bowling shop where you buy the balls they will drill it for you

  • lol the storm factory looks sooo dirty compared to the ebonite assembly line

  • I have a grape scented bowling ball.

  • individual smell?

    thats different.

    :S

  • Thanks for this nice share :)

  • woah so shinny =D

  • very intresting

  • omfg where i live i remmember making fun of the Storm ball and now i know how they are made.. :P
