  • who is this Flea knucklehead now?

  • This is one of those albums that hit you as soon as you hear it. i remember the first time i heard it, where i was and who i was with. there's something so unique and truly spiritual in his sound on this album.

  • @hyperlexic2 Yes, absolutely! About four years ago I pulled it out of my then-roommate's huge record collection totally by chance, and 30 seconds in I was blown away. I immediately found and bought everything I could possibly find with Shuggie (including Snatch and the Poontangs, Super Session, and other wax he put his stamp on). To this day I turn people on to Shuggie whenever I get the chance.

  • Shuggie is one of the most under-rated musicians of the 70's.

  • wonderful...!

  • I didn't like it when I first heard it when the album came out in 1970(?). I expected him to play the blues like in Here Comes Shuggie Otis and Freedom Flight.

  • He also wrote Strawberry Letter 23 when he was only 16 years old !!!!

  • Nice HD Sound!

  • me and my baby use to roller skate to this good music
