Try out a 2011 Kia Sedona, they updated them, giving them a slightly more powerful 3.5 engine instead of the 3.8, and a 6 speed transmission instead of the 5 speed.
I just bought a 2010 Kia Sedona (I too have a hard time remembering what it's called) to haul my dogs around. I currently drive a Saturn Outlook (same platform as Acadia/Enclave/Traverse). The Sedona is not a bad ride - I expected tin-can toyota feel and ride and was VERY surprised to enjoy the ride. I test drove a few other brands: Dodge/Ford/Honda/VW and by far the Sedona was the peppiest drive. Something I NEVER thought I'd say out-loud actually. Yeah it's a van - but it can HallnNass!
@MurphyTeller LOL! Glad to hear you're enjoying your Kia Sedona! Yeah, this isn't your father's minivan! It's a bit unstable over 100 MPH, and feels like you're going to roll off the road around 125, but man, it sure will dust any other minivan out there! Props!

@TeamHallnNass if you had it in manual mode it wouldnt have shufted so early and would have been much faster
