Anberlin doesn't need anything fancy to make excellent music. The lead singer is one of the best in the genre. The song lyrics have some meaning and depth. The guitar work is faultless. I think i prefer their live recordings over the studio.

The biggest misconception about 12 string guitars is that it is 12 different tuned strings. This is not the case. Each string (EADGBE) has a duplicate, but smaller gauged string to accompany it.

The effect gets a fuller concert-esque sound to it.

Go to your local guitar/ music shop and try it out.
