  • I have to say that i respect all american soldiers. You live in our hearts.

  • I lost my Dad and my boyfriend to this war. I hope that Obama keeps the true meaning behind all this. I personally know how it feels like to think they died for nothing. I do not support the war,. I support the men and women fighting it.

  • it's about a guy that has a few drinks and almost crashes and he realizes booze is not worth dying for when family is so much more important.when he says well you got to turn around, fight it somehow cause this aint nothing to die for, he means drinking and twice his friends wanted to take his keys.

  • I always thought this song was about an alcoholic. "Stopped to have a few at five

Now you're crossing that center line for the third time Second time like this, this week Had a friend ask you for your keys, you said, "No I'm fine" And the whole "Straight through that guardrail up into that white light" The only mention of the army is in the course when he talks about all the things he would die for. His kids, his friends, his country, Jesus... I think you might have misunderstood the message

  • they do die for our freedom and that something i fight for everyday along with them. Rangers lead the way!

  • @FutureSoldier222 No one fights and kills for my freedom because the only ones taking our freedom is our own gov. Fight them, not the people who could NOT do us any harm, ie, the Iraqis.

  • @bobbyles omg you spam

  • if i am gonna die young, i would rather die young fighting for the country i love than die of a drunk driver hit me at a red light. God bless the usa.

  • I see these 12 and 13 year olds over in the middle east yeliding guns it breaks my heart as I serve with other proud men and women...I dont wont your respect because I serve nor do I need it,I do it because I believe my children and the furture needs hope....All of us in the military, army, marines etc...do it because we love this country and want freedom....

  • im a Colonel.. I got knews yesterday that my brother was killed by a taliban... I made sure he got a 20 gun salute..

  • I want to be in the military!

  • Everyone was born to die :D i wanna join the air force im just 13 lol

  • AMEN

I love this song and our country

  • I'm kinda confused how this would be related to the army... Fighting for your country is worth dying for. I thought it was about drinking and driving, the only part I see that makes sense to 9/11 or the war is the chorus. That's just my opnion. But it is a very precious video and thank you. :]

  • What the song is talking about is having a few drinks at 5 and not giving the keys to someone else to let them drive. A person willing to give their life for their family, country, etc. and yet they are so willing to drink and drive................it's nothing to die for. That's the point. Don't drink and drive.

  • What does it mean nothing to die for? I don't get it.

  • Not worth dyeing for war, military, and anytihng

  • @coastguard1314 There are some things worth fighting for when you said anything what about you family? What if some guy from across the world came to your house and started to shoot up the damn place I am pretty sure I wouldn't just sit there.

  • Sorry - I disagree. Our FREEDOM most definitely something to die for. And I truly appreciate ever man and woman who has done so. Thank the Lord we are not in the middle east right now.... They ARE literally dieing there - just trying to gain the same freedoms we already have.

  • Coming from a military family from the war for our independence through Vietnam I am totaly discusted by the disgusting displays by some of our presidents such as Barak Obama and Bill Clinton (who was a war protester) while placing a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington. What right do they have? I know what the Constitution says about the commander in chief. How would they know? " They have NEVER been there done that".

  • @bobcat20101 ,

Does someone need to be a serviceman to recognise and appreciate what they do?

I am opposed to many wars, and I protested Australia's involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq. I'm also member of the Army Reserves, not because I'm pro-war, but because I recognise and appreciate the sacrifices made by many others.

Your post reeks of eliteism, and its disgusting that you think only some people are worthy of honouring those who make sacrifices.

  • I have nothing to die for, In may i am going off to basic for Marines. WOO!

I here my friends and strangers talk about military folks and it digust me how disrespectful they are towards the armed forces and such. There all happy and not worried about the people fighting for basically EVERYTHING until one of their own family member dies and they get all worked up and sad.. I just dont understand.. :|

  • "semper vigalence"

    Usaf Aux.

  • thats cool...my stepdad was a marine..thats what i want to be to. about 9/11...it seems like everyone back here just forgot about it...i mean everyone is like...." weve lost almost 5,000 soldiers" i mean..of course i feel extermely sorry for the families that lost family members overseas..but... on 9/11 we lost like 3,500 people. IN ONE DAY!!!! we cannot pull out!!!we have to finish this war...or ELSE EVERYONE WHO HAS DIED HAS DIED FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!LETS FINNISH THE FIGHT!

  • semper fidelis. always faithful. marine corps moto. live it, love it

  • ABSOLUTELY! If Bill Dumbass Clinton would have done something about those terrorist attacks on the world trade center and that navy destroyer maybe we wouldn't have had 9/11. Fuck liberals. They just dig a bigger shit hole to where we will never get out

  • i have never before looked at it that way, like yeah we have lost alot of peopple fighting and im truly sorry for the familys but look how many we lost in one day!!

my boyfriends in the marines and i love and respect him so much for what he's doing!

  • Si vis pacem, para bellum(Latin), if you want peace, prepare for war.

  • its funny.... this generation has no respect for people in the armed forces...it disgusts me......im only 14 and i respect everyone in the military.......in fact i want to be in the military...people back here just dont see what they have...... we are so lucky to have brave people step up to challenge ..... PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND, FREEDOM ISNT FREE!!!

  • Hell yeah! I'm 17 and plan to join the Marines! I'm ready and proud to serve my country and if that means dying then i know where i'm going... somebody has to be the tip of the spear! look at 9/11 we thought we were safe then out of no where these cowards attack us.

  • i love this song and this is exactly how i feel now. i have been in the military for 5 years and im going to resign. the only thing is me and the girl i love broke up and now i have nothing to die for when i go back over seas i just hope that she will be back in my arms one day i fought so hard for her.

  • Great video, my son's an Army soldier in Afghanistan...he would love this! Thank you and yes, support our troops! You have no idea what they go through for us!

  • Great video to put with the song.

  • May not be intended, but what our soldiers are doing for our safety is the most admirable sacrifice. Sure beat's dying for some poison.

    Tim Mcgraw "The Boss" Rocks!!!

  • Good song. Great Video, but the song is about drunk driving. Not about the Armed Forces. Don't get me wrong, The song goes pretty damn good with the video. I am not trying to "down" anything.
