If you've watched Day Eight [4/5], you can see that the shop has opened. I guess you have to transition to another map and then return for it to open up.
Man, that's gotta ruin your night. You take over a goldsmith's shop, intimidate him, scare him off.... and then you get stabbed in the top of the head.

I got the Goldsmith's shop to open up (no more boards), but I only can get the first two pins to unlock. Not sure if this is glitch or not.
