  • @wetanet, there are no winter steelhead in the clinton? i dont get it, the huron has winter steel!

  • There are some winter hold overs but they are often lethargic and hard to catch.

  • @wetanet , hopefully we get a warm sunny day to bring them out. Ive tried all winter from yates to past coyote joes and have never hooked or seen a trout in the river :( im wondering if they are not more in the lower river where it is deeper.

  • The trick is to definitely move around and cover a lot of water. The bite can be strong during a Jan/Feb thaw.
