if anything supports 3D, it will support depth and pop-out. I would much rather Nintendo set up an exchange program should they release a 3DS with upgraded hardware. And yes, the sweet spot is my main complaint, in Ocarina of Time 3D, closer objects are fine, but once you objects that are farther away, I see a clear double-imaging effect in my left eye, guess it could be stronger. That is my only complaint with it other than the battery life.

1:36 Unfortunately, the cameras are only 720:480 (strange aspect ratio of 3:2) and you can't easily export photos and videos to red/blue 3d without using softwares like Stereophoto/movie maker.

2:39 Note that the 3d does not pop out of the screen, but rather, add depth to make it as if the stuff inside is going out through the back.

3:03 Turn that down! 3d effect doesn't work on cameras (except for Fujifilm cameras, that's a different story).

4:13 it will be improved. 3DTVs are being made

5:03 There are certain times when you are not allowed to access the HOME menu, e.g. majority of the EShop does not allow you to access the home menu. Most people also don't know that from here you can access a built in instruction manual for just about any game.

@TheMrminimario you are partly right. Actually it is possible on the 3DS that things "pop out of the screen" but it is just not strongly used for whatever reason. According to miyamoto they have not even used 50% of the 3D possibilities yet..

But yes it is more about the depth of the image, that's right. But I also don't think it feels like it's going away from the player;)

I have FiFa12 so i can play a game or so when i'm drinking my coffee and stuff. i have Super Mario 3D Land, wich is amazing and huge if you count hard mode (wich is GREAT). Legend of Zelda:OOT wich is my hardcore choise, and i play even when i 'm home. Also i have the 21 free games form e-shop, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon for a shooter. All i need is a racing and a fighting title and you are good to go baby!

@mariosmashfann The 3DS does work in the dark but your eyes will get strained more easily. Be sure to play your 3DS in a well lit room to balance you eye's adjustment. P.S. If you were talking about the camera working in dark or not well lit rooms the answer is no.

@mariosmashfann i am not sure whether or not they will replace your 3ds because of a scratch, unless its very deep threatening the hardware.

I bought myself a 3DS last week, but as far as i am aware, whenever you see double images or anything blurry, it means youre not watching the screen from the correct angles. like the guy said in this video, the 3D effect is ridiculous with any sections of motion control.

I tend to hold the 3DS too close, so i get the blur/double image sometimes.

@captainkolb thats where you are wrong, becuase it came out to 169.99 with the game included at gamestop, when i checked at walmart it was 169.99 without the game.. so yea i got a good deal so my total was 169.99 plus i added the warranty for 2 years for 20.00, if it gets wet, damaged whatever i get a new one ...so my total was 203.28 with tax included , only reason it came out to 203 was becuase i decided to get the 2yr warranty, so yup im satisfied :)

@isanaly1 nothing is free the 3ds alone is $170. the bundle is $200 so if u think about it when you buy the bundle you are paying for both the 3ds and the game whitch is $40. my point is that 170 + 40 is 210 so all u did was save 10 dollars on a game. so no u got nothing for free by buying the bundle.

a hecklot of em have a very loose hinge, which ruins the system for many. (have my second now)... also, the lack of battery sucks, aswell as the missing second stick. (i wouldnt mind only one, if there wouldnt be an 'addon' needed to be attached to the system) - still, if you got a working one, its a great system
