Why did the Edge leave out Northern Ireland when he thanked the UK audience? He said thank you to England, Scotland and Wales. Is that some kind of political thing?

Edge usually does the speeches, but Larry! Rare indeed, to see him take the podium and leave Bono quietly to the side. I guess we do know who's in charge.
