Everyone is a critic. I thought it was beautiful, creative, well choreographed, and very entertaining. I think there are too many people out there who think they know everything about dance, but they don't. I loved it!
I agree facial expressions are a little bit stern. facial expression is as much a part of the performance as the dance itself! But I did really like the coreography! :)
we were so nervous that couldn't think about our face. we will try more to express our feelings :) we are very happy doing bellydance, more practice will help us!!
add more variety of bellydance movements next time, such as the Figure 8 (infinity), Shimmy when your lower half isn't doing anything.
Also, make your movements flow, it looked a bit choppy. A trick to help your hip movements look full instead of,"omg what did they just do, was it a shimmy? hip circle??". All you have to do is bend your knees a little, not too much, just enough so they don't see a bump, then place your feet next to each other and open into a "V" shape, but don't open too wide.
it's really bad, especially because it doesn't help your movements...if you wear the long skirts for dance, then bare-foot is all you need.
Being bare-foot helps your movements, and gives your lower half more freedom, especially the feet and knees.
Please take this as help, (i'm also a student of bellydancing, hula, tahitian, and other types of other cultural dance styles...but I have strict teachers)
i agree with the heels thing. I personally find it much easier to dance properly barefoot as well, although i did somehow manage to do hip-drops whilst wearing knee-high new rock reactor boots on a night out lol :P
Great!! Could you tell me the name of the song and artist of the music?

Nice idea to cobine fan and belly dance together. But!! somethings are wrong from this show.
1. It looks like Tai Chi fan more than Korean fan dance
2. Too long
3. No smile No feeling follow the rhthym of music
4. Do "Shimmy", it can entertain the audiences Anyways, keep going guys. Cheer up!
