Scutter, while it's true that every eye that is dwelling on the earth at that time will see Christ coming in His glory, it is not true that every eye will see him at the Rapture. The rapture is NOT the second coming of Christ. The second coming of Christ happens after the rapture and at the end of the 7 year Tribulation when he comes in judgment.

Scutter, I know you mean well but the book of Revelation is not plural but singular. There is only one revelation of Jesus Christ. Rev. 1:7 is the doxology the introduction of Revelation. The chronology of events doesn't start until Rev. 1:9. Rev. 1:7 is referring to an event that takes place AFTER the rapture of His church. So to some, He will come as a thief in the night but to His bride we will see and hear Him. Make sense?

At any rate, all of the NT teachings can be found in the dead sea scrolls that predate the 'era' of jesus by a couple of hundred years. Even their version of the Book of Revelation is at least 100 years older than the edited NT version. There is nothing in the NT that is original and even the beatitudes and sermon on the mount are edited versions of the Essene teachings. They also claim to have had a great righteous teacher who was killed long before the time of jesus.

Yes, when the Rapture occurs there will be no doubt as to Jesus' existence then--EVERYONE will see Him. Then comes the Tribulation and during the last 3 1/2 years of that, the Anti-Christ will appear to "challenge" God. As in the days of Noah, after the flood, so will it be in the near future. Even during the horrors of the Tribulation, many people will STILL refuse to repent and continue to defy God. Also they'll be deluded into believing the Anti-Christ can actually help them overcome God.

Scutter, Christ is the word that was made flesh, He IS eternal God, and is the word. He is the author of the entire Bible. We must seek God's whole counsel for truth. Christ will be returning in His full Glory on judgment day, and according to Exo 33:20 no man can see Him and live. The verses you offered are not a contradiction. We must reconcile it. That's how we find truth. We cannot make the words of Jesus more important than the rest of the Bible. I fear this is what you are doing.

We are instructed by Jesus, " be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect" Luke12: 40. A post-trib rapture limits when Jesus will return and therefore we defy Jesus' instructions. We should expect His return at any moment to rapture believers.

They weren't put there to "mislead" people, they there to get people to wake up and stop following the status quo and listening to what churches have to say. To really start reading the bible for what it is and what it is not. Only 1/3 of the earth is "Christian" which means that 2/3 don't believe the same way. @theeastwatch In this case, I dont think so TEW. Scripture does report that there was a time when God was willing to compromise. The story of Sodom tells that. But when it comes to defined prophecy, God has always kept His word to the letter.

Some use that to find Him offensive and cruel. Rather, I use it to show me that He can be trusted, whether we like the outcome or not. In laymans terms, He's a man of His word. Would we rather trust a God who proved Himself or a god who was a liar?
