@chosenone990 Go to bin and drag minecraft.jar to your desktop. Right click on it and click extract files. A folder should pop up called minecraft or something. Click on it and click on the folder gui, then click items - that's where the swords are. If you need any help just ask :P If it's about how to customise something, I use GIMP which I think is probably best, I can help you with that but if you use something else I could probably still help, most of these editing softwares are very similar

The song is "Reaching, by Audiomachine", and he is using Gimp - a free PhotoShop-like editor.

He is using iMovie for the video editing, obviously on a Mac.

Finally, he doubled the size of the terrain.png and items.png to make it more detailed. (Look up some tutorials on how to make this work with 32x32 pixeled items and block textures).
