Made it twice and hubby wants me to make it every week lol. We absolutely love it Mary! The only problem I have is the crack. I want to make it for my friend's birthday on Saturday and I don't want to bring a cracked cheesecake over.. Any suggestion? Thanks!
If baking in a silver springform pan set oven temp at 325, if using a dark, non-stick pan set temp. at 300. If it stills has a crack dust with powdered sugar. Turn off oven after baking and leave door closed for 1 hour. Thanks for the lovely comment.
ah...i would have loved to see ya slice through that scrumptious cake...just to see the inside and how fluffy it comes out. I am going to try this...I ve been making cheesecake but I always say I want it fluffier...haha. thanks
My recipe calls for Bread Crumbs but some viewers have used graham cracker crumbs. So either type of crumbs can be used. I prefer the bread crumbs as they are less sweet and give the cake just the right base for the cheesecake.
I just wanted to let you know that I made this recipe and it turned out awesome! The only downside was that it made wayyyyyy too much! I ended up with two cheesecakes! I think my spring form pan is smaller than yours (President's Choice). I recommend that others keep this in mind if they are going to make this recipe.
Happy to hear you like the cheesecake. I use a 9 inch. springform pan. Was your pan much smaller than that? Thanks for the suggestion to other viewers.
Mary my dear you rock this look good...

this cheesecake looks so yummy! i can't wait to make mine. by the way, is it better to chill it? wouldn't it harden/stiffen?
binkymanlapaz 1 year ago
@binkymanlapaz
Chilling cheesecake will not affect it's fluffiness. It will not harden/stiffen. Serve at room temperature after chilling.
