  • This is an original 1920s artifact and NOT a modern mock up. The amount of period detail and the fashions could never be done up so accurately by modern hoaxers unless they were completely obsessive about the era to an astonishing degree.

  • This was NOT shot recently. It was made in the late 1920s after these students saw London After Midnight. It was originally part of the video Monsters Crash the Pajama Party. I know it's from the period because I worked with David F. Friedman who owned the original. Enjoy.

  • @drpool2424 Thank you for the comment! Do you know how Friedman got the original? It's quite the find.

  • Nosferatu? 0:11

  • your momma isn't real.................

  • This is a old or new "retro" film?

  • @MathiasCron Like I said, it's from Something Weird, so I really don't know definitively. SWV does really fantastic work on their releases so it's very possible that this is old just been cleaned up for the DVD. Until I have significant reason to believe it isn't the real thing, assume it is.

  • Very well done. But for anyone who doen't know better: This was shot recently, but made to look old. And a good job at not only capturing the "old movie" look, but the costumes and the actors and the whole concept were all very convincing. My only criticism would be that the vampire's makeup could have been better.

  • @WilliamT1964 What makes you think this was shot recently? This isn't mine, I got it from a DVD release by Something Weird Video and had to post it to YouTube for a project.

  • @TheHouseoftheWeird Just seems like, for a piece of film that is nearly 90 years old, that it would be in far worse shape. I make no accusations and I certainly could be mistaken. But that was my first impression.

  • What the hell, where's "Little Jack O'Lantern"?

  • @demon91 I had to sub in different music for a project on the 20s. Got to love the Dead Elvi, though. :D

  • What's the name of the music playing? I heard it on a bunch of cartoons before.

  • @YungReg88 "Spooky Scherzo" by Sam Fonetyn; it's right there in the description. If you've ever played the game "Toonstruck," it's the theme song. It's from Associated Production Music, meaning anyone can licence it for their project.

  • When were these filmed?

  • @Phoenixsuns2007 Judging by the outfits and information on the DVD, sometime in the 20s. London After Midnight was released in December 1927, so it must have been shortly after; since movies were fairly disposable then and just came and went, it would have to be just after the makers saw it at their local cinema.

  • @NoctourneWonderland I think these clips are incredible. Probably due to the fact that the people in this video are only a few days removed from watching a movie that I WILL NEVER GET TO SEE! LOL! Amazing all the way around.

  • @Phoenixsuns2007 Are you that stupid?

  • @eieiowens I can't even leave a simple question on here without getting trashed by some moron on YouTube. I UNDERSTAND ITS OLD FOOTAGE YOU FUCKIN' IDIOT!! I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT YEAR!! GOT IT?!

  • @Phoenixsuns2007 I feel you're pain.

  • @phanaticgren Thank you man.

  • @Phoenixsuns2007 Recently it was done in somebody's backyard

  • Amazing! What is the background on this clip. It's not London After Midnight, but it appears old.

  • @fizzfop They're on Something Weird Video's "Monsters Crash the Pajama Party" DVD, and that's honestly all I know. The company is very good at responding to emails, so you might consider asking them about it. I'm sorry I can't provide you with more detail; I just liked the clips.
