wow! why all the lights? whats the occasion?

They've been up since the beginning of the holiday shopping season (after Thanksgiving) Jackson is a resort town, and there are lots of stores around the town square for your shopping pleasure, so they keep it lit up. This video was shot a few weeks ago, I don't know if they're still on or not now.

There's probably deer, and moose (they're all over town) The elk refuge is less than a quarter mile from the town square.

Once,I knew I didn't have a stop sign at a certain intersection, but the deer running down the other street directly in front of me didn't read their stop sign. There were buildings at the intersection, obscuring them from sight,before they ran out in front of my bumper. Luckily, disaster was averted! I just wish they'd read the signs and obey traffic laws!

Yup, I've seen it. I love the WYDOT webcams. I like to check the ones on Teton Pass, and the really bad stretches on I80.
