I had a tmaxx when they first had the transmissions in them and i slapped 2 a couple of .31 racing motors in it with custom exhaust and multipul other mods and ran 189 mph in a quater mile before radio frequency quit when the sign posted my time haha. None of wich of the mods i did were legal to race or drag but still very fun

currently i have no video camera but one in the mail to my house and I know what the world record is and i have broken the world record with my truck and it has been watched by a world record official, in that i knew it would not count because as i stated nothing on the truck is legal to drag or race with...Its just a fun toy me and my father built

Also that speed record is the electric record so my truck would not qualify for that catagory anyway. The only things left legal to race off road or drag where the actual shocks but i have a lowering kit or lift kit depending and the body mounts as well as steering and other mounts. The chasis is a custom carbon fiber poly mold which weights about nothing the engines are illegal the exhaust is custom with dual baffles

there are no rules for extreme class in drag racing and there are no rules for for the quickest rc car. what is the name of the official as i will talk to nic and see if he knows him or her. the speed record is electric as they are the quickest nothing to do with rules you can run what you want as long as it is remote controlled

Jim Corbaine I believe is the name im not quite sure on the spelling but something around that. Where i live all we have is off-road racing and drag but sadly never heard of the extreme class here otherwise i would love to run in that. I was told that if the vehicle can not run in any class then it is not eligable, and as Jim told me the record is for electric. He was not a specialist for this catagory so he might be wrong

They sound funny? They have nitro motors in them, which are tiny, 1 cylinder engines that get extremely high revs. Thats why they sound so high pitched. They can make like 3-5 horsepower stock. Pretty amazing.

we have electric cars going this fast but i think 185kmh will be the limit until we work out how to stop the tyres from exploding
