Thats a rather big collection of cheap knives,but i guess they have emotional value since your granddad gave them..The deer knives look nice though.

One day i'll shoot a vid on my little collection.

I have a folder - a CRKT greg lightfoot design - 'urban shark'

My big ass knife - Ontario TAK - its invincible.

And a dagger - Fallknifen G1 - 'Garmfighter'

Also my modded crosman 2240 - And a russian Anics 101 pistol.

All great quality.But you have to start somewhere. :)

Case knives have very good steel,I do not know why you think that they have bad steel,slow deployment does not matter,unless its a self defense situation,and case knives are not meant for that.

i agrre with u on the serrated blades.. i have a gerber i think...made with cheap material.good handle but blade cant be sharpened. i might could get it reprofiled. but i dont see the point
