Qatar really is a boring country (I've been there), you can drive from one end of it to the other in under 3 hours, it's stinking hot and HUMID in the summer and there really isn't any natural beauty to it or any notable tourism hotspots. So if you're happy with just watching football and spending the rest of the time indoors then go for it, otherwise I'm personally going to Russia 2018 and skipping 2022.

FIFA are already quite aware of Australia's ability to host major events. This video creates the feel that you need to have a successful WC.
