  • liked the lateral snaches with rotational clean. are there any rotational or lateral variations of the kb clean & jerk?

  • Watch the knees is right, I smacked my knee doing rotational cleans the first time!

  • Oops. The trick is, on any lateral swing, with clubs or KB's is to not squat until AFTER the arm has past the knees. This makes of a more explosive movement, since the absorption and change of direction happen quicker.

  • I have never seen those circular snatches before. Cool exercise man!

  • It's best to practice them first as just a lateral swing, eventually turning it into a snatch. Then, if you want the odd directional switch, add the clean when going the other way. WATCH THE KNEES. Timing is everything
