  • The guy on the right has no arguments accept for "well, we don't know what duties you have as a president." He has nothing accept for a big forhead so he has to laugh loudly to make himself seem like the "sensible" one. Bill Maher is sanity defined. go fuck yourselves.

  • I think that 10,000 years of socioeconomic systems revolving around handing the power over others to tiny political classes is a course run through. Stand in your OWN power. Just because the political hierarchy and religious institutions force their way into your lives doesn't mean you need to give all your attention away to Obama or Jesus.

  • "Maher: owned...?" I never knew that getting talked over was the clear cut way to victory in debates.

  • @Valoric0 Oh please, it's the tried and tested method of every conservative tv figure! Bill O'Reilly hasn't lost a debate ever, he's so loud!

  • lol Bill Maher got laughed at

  • There is no defending sitting there for 7min in that class room why keep doing it?

  • @TheDorianTormak i do not think people join the army as a service its to get college paid for and everyone i have talked to at fort's say they want to get out of the army people also get married because they get more money

  • @TheDorianTormak

they took saddam down coz her turned on them....not coz he was a brutal dictator

  • Joe just said that the president takes direction for other people. Right on!

  • bush should be impeached for having a private army that doesn't follow goneva convention international law.

  • @TheDorianTormak

" I'm glad they took him out".

I now right? And all it cost you was a few dollars for some Coors Light and a US Flag sticker for your car. It only cost a few Soldiers their lives. Just a few, right?

  • how can anyone say anything negative about killing saddam? he killed almost as many as hitler did!! but we had ww2?!?

bullys on the playground should never be allowed to be bullys! how can u b for iraq?

Bush was voted in as PRESIDENT...TWICE!!

  • @bluegrassreb1 HAHAHAHAHAHAH! Saddam killed as many as hitler? HAHAHAHHAHA!!! Seriously... where do you get ur facts.....?

  • @bluegrassreb1

60+ million died in WW2. Mostly civilians. Saddam was our ally and received increased funding AFTER he gassed his own people. This is why democracy sucks...because your vote counts the same as mine (well, depending on what state you live in).

  • @bluegrassreb1

Yeah, but there was a few instances of voter fraud. Because I believe Scalia and Thomas got to vote twice : )

  • Bill Maher has always been a fucking cunt. Hell!! he would fuck his own sister if that was the only piece of pussy he could get his hands on!!!

  • maher's quite stupid!

  • ONE MILLION DEAD IRAQIS! BASED ON A LIE!

    YOUTUBE: Z9dVyVtNsZc

  • Com'on Bill - at least admit the 9/11 commission was a joke!

  • The guy on the left was using a straw man argument and he shows he doesn't like being wrong, and Bill obviously had a good point I mean you would have to practically be brain dead not to understand the point he was making. The guy on the left is a jackass.

  • Good God. If there wasn't enough in Bush's first year to invoke articles of impeachment, there's no such thing as impeachment. It's amazing to me how often Bush defenders want to isolate each and every impeachable offense as if the avalanche of them doesn't exist if they can pick apart a snowflake.

The man legislatively burned the Constitution, behaved criminally in the overturning of the EPA reports of ground zero.

    Criminals get impeached.

  • AgentofFate,

Based on the contradictions his arguments are not very clear or logical. It's also not logical to believe in 19 hijackers when 8 of them were alive and well after the "crashes". It's not logical to continue insisting that there wasn't time to install explosives in the TT's in spite of all the testimony to the contrary.

Bill Maher has built a reputation of being a political skeptic while swallowing the 9/11 lies hook line and sinker which you would only expect from an embedded.

  • I have never been a Bill Maher fan, but he is exactly right on this issue.

  • Bill Maher says impeach Bush for staying in that classroom when he heard the country was "under attack". He says Scarborough is deceived about who George Bush is. But he doesn't believe it was an inside job. He doesn't believe George Bush knew he was in no danger. He doesn't believe George Bush would be involved in a conspiracy to kill our own people. But he knows who George Bush is. Bill Maher is an idiot.

  • @glipzik dude, your not making much sense here. Now I think Bill goes a little over the top in this case, but he almost always has clear and logical argument, even if it is peppered with jokes. You just gotta step back and try and be objective.

  • im having a hard time not punching my computer.

  • civil war is on the horizon .. right vs left..

  • 9/11 official story - lie. WMDs - lies. Modern day propaganda. Scary.

  • He is my hero. <3

  • It's blatantly obvious that Bush had prior knowledge that they were going to be attacked.

  • Better reason to impeach Bush-How about over 5000 DEAD GI'S??? ON A FUCKING LIE THAT HE SPREAD ABOUT WMD'S IN IRAQ???

YOU'RE EITHER WITH US OR YOU'RE WITH THE TERRORISTS? That was a 100% PLANNED PROPAGANDA POLITICAL SPEECH ASSHOLES.THAT is why the DUMMOCRATS signed up for the fucking war asshole.

  • ISN'T THIS LYING SCUMBAG ON FAUX NEWS?? LYING SCUMBAG BASTARDS.

  • The war in Iraq WAS PLANNED as soon as Bush got into office in JANUARY 2001.

ALL THEY NEEDED WAS AN EXCUSE. In May 2001 there were plans for an Oil co. splitup of POST-SADDAM IRAQ. MAY 4 MONTHS BEFORE 911.

911 Was an Intelligence OPERATION by a part of the US Shadow Government.

CIA was part of it-just like they did JFK in Dallas.

  • joe vs bill when an interview becomes confrontational, you can toss impartiality out the window. they were both coming on like attack dogs, siezing on a point and tring to score points for their own side: bill accusing joe of being blinded by loyality to bush; joe harshing on bill for 'impeaching for the delay'

  • Would Bush would have got up sooner if he was told that his own house was on fire...or his wife was in one of the Twin Towers?....So why not when it's other American citizens?

Bill Maher is absolutely right... & Bush should also be impeached for going to war with Iraq based upon misinformation & lies fed to him by certain people in the CIA and whoever else had something to gain by taking the USA to war with Iraq!

BTW; I didn't know Bush has a superman cape - but nothing would surprise me!

  • Joe should be in jail for murder.

  • i agree that bush isnt the greatest president, but its odd that bill maher excepts the fact that bush is corrupt so easily, but he strictly denies the possibility of obama being corrupt, lol bill maher is an ignorant party politician, anything his party does he will agree with, and anything the opposite party does he will hate, i cant stand people like this. i agree with the guy on the left, what the hell did he want bush to do? get his superman cape on?

  • @csswafford Actually far from the truth... Maher has been very ciritcal of the Obama administration recently, as he should be. But it doesn't matter who you are... To just sit there and do NOTHING when you learn that your country is under attack??? If I told you a bomb went off in your house while you were at a buddy's house, would you just sit there and say "Well what can I do? The bomb's already gone off?" or would you do something? It's BLASPHEMOUS to assume you'd do nothing.

  • @racergonemad99 thats a way different story and situation, what the hell did u want bish to do? get his superman cape on and save the day? besides the administration was alrady hard at work going through their standard protocol, and trying to resolve the situation, you must understand the president doesnt really make the decision, his cabinet does, and his administration does, What would you do in that situation? what could you do? like i said, administrations were already resolving it

  • @csswafford Alright let's assume that he realy had no idea he was going to be attacked, just for arguments sake. After hearing my country was under attack I would probably continue sitting for about 2 seconds, and then think that a classroom is not the most appropriate place for me to be in right now. So, I would calmy get up, apologize to the classroom and the teacher, and walk out back to the motorcade, and start TALKING with the secretary of defense, the cabinet, the administration, etc.

  • @csswafford I certainly would not SIT there for 7 minutes, without speaking a word or asking a question. Yes I would trust my administration, but I'd like to think that the president would probably want to say a word or two to them, no?

However, if you consider the possibility that Bush KNEW the attack was coming, well then it all makes perfect sense. Because like Maher said, he was only informed "the country is under attack." It could have been a nuke next, and all Bush did was sit there.

  • @racergonemad99 He got reports when he was in the motorcade in his car, he new preiviously that planes had been hijacked, when the guy told him that america was under attack he put 2 and 2 together, besides you still didnt answer my question, what could he have done? its kindergardenish to think that the president actually makes decisions like that on the spot, he doesnt do that, and no president ever has, FDR didnt do anything untill the next day when preal harbor happened (which is today)

  • @csswafford I know he heard of the first tower being hit but it wasn't confirmed that it was a hijacking until he heard "the country is under attack," up until then there was no definitive answer as to what was happening.

As for your question, I say he could have at least apologized to the class, gotten up and got inside his car. Then he could have spoken with his staff privately, and not just sit there and do nothing.

  • @csswafford Also, keep in mind I'm not arguing about what more could he have done in THAT situation, but the situation would have been a lot worse, but the president didn't know the severity of what was going on. When you have no idea what's coming, that should be reason enough to leave the premises and immediately start discussing with his staff.

  • @racergonemad99 well i takes a little longer than 7 minutes to prep airforce one for take off, and hold a meeting with all of his administration, its not the presidents job to enforce rules on national security on the spot, he does that afterwards, like i said before we have burecracies and administrations that already have strict guidelines on what to do in an emergency situation, sure maybe he could have acted quicker, but he didnt want to cause panic.

  • Another important fact often glossed over by those with Bush Derangement Syndrome is that Pres. Bush and the school children are not in front of one photographer, as your mind would lead you to believe since you only see the one perspective, but they are being watched by an entire press pool including ABC news. Also off camera his staff is preparing communications and options. Even George Washington would have had to wait for his horse to be brought around.

  • Typical lib-prog thinking displayed here. He doesn't want Bush impeached for going to war .... he wants him impeached for not going to war 7 minutes sooner. According to Maher here Bush didn't think long enough before going into Iraq but he thought too long after initially being told - it would be funny if these type 'elites' didn't think they need to be in a position to tell us how to live our day to day lives.

  • joe's an idiot...maybe he's joe the plumber

  • from the title of this video alone I can already tell Maher is a moron. I mean really, impeaching a president because terrorists attacked the country? For waging a war that Congress voted for? For being a "Fascist"? Wow, based on the first two, maybe FDR should have been impeached after Pearl Harbor...

  • @Albyiscool if u think that Bush had nothing to do with the terrorist attack then your the idiot. Not only should he have been impeached he should have been arrested and brought up on charges of treason.

  • @Whiterabbitssuck

So let me get this straight: you're a 9/11 Truther nut, and I'M the idiot?

    Oh boy is that rich.

  • @Albyiscool Im not really one of the consperiecy theorisits I just feel bush had alot more to do with it than he let on to believe there is alot of evidence that doesnt add up. Im not sure what i believe about sept 11th but i promise it is notheing fox news tried jamming down the peoples throats. Lets not forget the patriot act following sept 11th that let bush do whatever he wanted includeing telling nato to fuck off. Bush and cheney where the only ones that gained anything out of it.

  • @Whiterabbitssuck

Which means you believe that there was some sort of conspiracy...? Let me be frank, if you believe Bush had any personal role in committing the attacks, you are a nut. Also remember that the Patriot Act (which was not unlimited to begin with) was severely limited by Congress, and THEY were the ones who passed it to begin with. So why aren't you complaining about Congress? Even so, the Patriot Act was personally reasonable given the context of 9/11

  • @Albyiscool actualy what im saying is somebody in that administration seriously dropped the ball then used every power they had to cover it up to me that is the same as white water bush was nixon all over agian and nixon should have been imprisoned too

  • @Whiterabbitssuck

Yes, someone dropped the ball. Odds are it was someone in the FBI or CIA, not the Bush Administration.

  • @Whiterabbitssuck I was in sommerset Pennsylvania on sept 11th and there was no plane that went down i dont know what happened to flight 93 but it didnt go down in shanksville

  • tbh i think bush was trying to make sure that he didn't freak out everyone in there, and in a few seconds react to what he should do next. So Bill's argument for impeaching him there for that was a bit moot. But if he was impeached it would be for wire-tapping, Guantanamo, or lying about WMD's by not having sufficient intel and going into Iraq, or some combo. That has more weightage in this debate.

  • I swear Bush actually looks like a primate when he was "informed that the country is under attack"! He already knew thats why he sat there.

  • In John Farmer’s book: “The Ground Truth: The Story Behind America’s Defense on 9/11″, the author builds the inescapably convincing case that the official version... is almost entirely untrue...

Farmer, Dean of Rutger Universities' School of Law and former Attorney

General of New Jersey, was responsible for drafting the original flawed

    9/11 report.

  • That anchor is a complete shill.

  • I'm not a Republican, but Maher got told hard. That being said, what could possibly come from Bush scaring the life out of children by screaming and freaking out? He kept his cool and reacted better than any of us would have.

  • @seanofthedead90 Look no one is asking Bush to scream or freak out. This is what many people keep saying and it makes no damn sense. Bush should have just got up, said "excuse me, etc, etc" to the teacher, and went off to do his business. Plain and simple. Sitting there for 7 minutes did not accomplish anything, clearly. He just looked like an idiot.

  • @seanofthedead90 And you're saying Bush would scare the life out of the children. Well, let me ask you this who matters more in this situation, children in a classroom reading or a country that is under attack.

  • i dunno who that guy on the left is but he is a f**king idiot.

  • @VampireKa1n less idiot than bill maher!

  • These people honestly defend Bush for just sitting there for 7 minutes? It is absolutely mind boggling how they can see that as being an OK thing for the leader of a nation to do. Some of these republicans who believe this are so damn close minded, they are totally unwilling to admit Bush did anything wrong. it is complete horseshit that he is supported for this and it really shows how brainwashed some people are.

  • @guitarfreak8900 He knew it was happening because his crew had planned it and he was having a panic attack.

In John Farmer’s book: “The Ground Truth: The Story Behind America’s Defense on 9/11″,

the author builds the inescapably convincing case that the official version... is almost entirely untrue...

Farmer, Dean of Rutger Universities' School of Law and former Attorney

General of New Jersey, was responsible for drafting the original flawed

    9/11 report.

  • Maher: owned......

  • The very fact that 9/11 happend is an impechable offence. How does a commercial aircraft get anywhere NEAR the pentagon, or white house for that matter, with out checking in? The WTC may have happend, just maybe, but the pentagon for gods sake? where is our homeland defense.

  • There is no way that being the president I gonna received the news the my country is under attack and I gonna do nothing, men I would jump right away and find out what's going on and I would tell everybody go home is an emergency...

  • i certianly hope bill will continue to fight with these opinionated people to continue the spearhead for truth

  • Hurting the school kids' feelings was not the priority of the moment. Nothing on his mind would have been less served by him getting up and acting decisively. His response was indefensible. He was, simply, a deer in the headlights.

  • Had he been told, "your wife's had a heart attack and may be dying," "the vice president is on the phone with an urgent question," or, "a small fire has erupted on the other side of this building," Bush would have (rightly) been out of that chair before the sound died. And let us not forget that the 7 wasted minutes might have been enough for the president to issue engagement orders to the airborne fighter aircraft positioned to possibly prevent, say, the third aircaft from hitting the Pentagon.

  • @BigBry49 Please try to think rationally. Bill Maher does not say anything inaccurate about the events on 9/11 or how President Bush reacted to these events. President Bush faltered at the moment of truth, verified by numerous sources. Saying otherwise is claiming ignorance yourself. Please try to think in perspective and not just blind loyalty to the President at the time. It's our duty to question how our country's leadership is working.

  • bill smokes so much dope, that his ignorancy of 9//1, hey Bill aircraft fuel is JP8 aviation fuel, other words a refined clean diesel. you can get a glass of this fuel and put a match in it and it will put the match out. Bill go get educated biy your ignorant

  • @BigBry49 Learn to speak/write English before you start calling others ignorant, and maybe try smoking a big fatty, as it may actually give you some perspective!

  • @BigBry49 but the more intense heat generated by the aircraft hitting the building would probably have been enough to ignite it and when it is lit it will burn quite well. Thats why they burn it to provide thrust for 100 tonne airplanes.

  • @Mayhem108 Go look at the pictures of the melted girters. JP8 cannot do that in 45 minutes. Not in your world or mine.

  • Bill mahers Reaction at 4:30 is priceless

  • when attacks such 9/11 you don't jump to conclusion in 7 minutes and respond, because there was no way of knowing if was terrorist or country/ government that planned and made look like a terrorsit attack. I know lot of people will not agree me on this bur i think military service should be mandatory so people like Bill Maher say stupid *&%# as he did. I think people were in ther service have more comprehension of national security and how thing operate on a military level for defense.

  • Bush should have been impeached but really he is barely worse than any other world leader. Most presidents, prime ministers, kings, queens, czars, pharoes, etc care about themselves first and the nations they reign over last. It's the sad truth.

  • The democrats played pat with Bush and allowed the madness to continue. They are just as worthless as the republicans they replaced.

  • fuck bill maher , ide like to see what he woulda done if he was in bush's shoes , yes everyone i know bush wasnt the smartest president , but for this nutsack to come on tv and say impeach the president over somthing small ??? , nah i supported the president during that current time , and WTF if he was a dumb ass , why did we vote for him twice ... screw bill maher i aint gonna go see that dipshit when he comes here to do a show

  • @ddriverflood I'm sorry to say you guys voted for him twice because 51% of your population are dumbasses like George Bush and those people can see themselves as George Bush that is why they voted for him... Just read 'The Political Brain' by Drew Westen, it explains why people vote for candidates they can best relate to and I'm sorry to say, because you are a democracy and voted for George Bush, that means at least 51% of your population as just as dumb as George Bush.

  • wtf...something small? he sent countless US soldiers over there to die, and he didn't even look up the most basic information about that country. what can be more irresponsible than this.

  • Well the Hannity thing shut him up. Heh.

  • Bushes knew everything...look at daddy bushes speech on SEPTEMBER 11th, 1991........GOD..no wonder Americans are stupid at history....Get this people, if you don't know what has happened then for sure you will never know what will happen.....

  • @assyrio78 EXACTLY!!!!

9/11/91 Exactly 10 years to the day. That speech is very creepy sounding as well.

"when we are successful, and we will be..." Look for yourselves. WAKE UP!

    /watch?v=mDeqhSh1nlQ&feature=related

  • another train of thought on why bush sat there so long is: maybe he knew about the attack ahead of time ?? its my understanding if the country is under attack its assumed the president is a target if he is out and about..he is supposed to be whisked to safety..so apparently they knew there was no plane or car bomb headed to that school...add to that as i said b4 ..why sit there and not evacuate the children from the school immediately..if i thought of it..shouldn't bush have?

  • bush sat there for 7 minutes when he was told the country was under attack...and he didn't have the brains to realize that since it was no secret he was in that school...he should have had the fucking brains to think maybe..just maybe he might be a target...so why didn't he get out the school and have the kids and school staff evacuated..he sat there for 7 minutes and put the children there at risk..for that he should have been impeached!

  • Also if you want to change the Constitution to fit the time or whatever bullshit you come up with try a constitutional amendment!

  • There is difference between promoting the general welfare and dictating the general welfare! And anyway it is such a broad statement the fact you have they audacity to say it could mean healthcare means either a. Your Illiterate and stupid or b. You know your full of shit. I'm guessing b because every thinking and knowlegible person knows that the founding fathers didn't mean the government should provide healthcare.

  • The founding fathers left the constitution to be altered in the sake of "keeping up with the times of the people." They were not geniuses, they just read a lot of philosophy instead of the stupid bible.....

  • Scarbororogh says he's a Libertarian, but he's really a neocon.

  • we have medicare ,i think its goverment controlled ,the elderly and poor benefit, and for those who dont want the goverment involved are those who are part of the problem ....go OBAMA FINALLY A HUMAN BEING IS PRESIDENT

  • Scarbororogh got majorly owned.

  • Now that I have watched the video my ears are bleeding! Maher talking about the Constitution? Is this a joke or something? Were in the Constition does it say the government shall control healthcare? This is an example of............ HOLY HYPOCROSY!

  • In the Preamble, "Promote the general welfare .." I didn't even have to look that up. Our founding fathers didn't have the concept of health care that we do in our modern age. But I'm sure this implies that they would want equal and fair health care for all. I believe health care is included in the 'general welfare'.

  • Your 'ears are bleeding'? Your ego may also bleed when it can be shown that the, "promote the general welfare" clause in the preamble and article 1, sec 8, may very easily be interpreted by Supreme Court to justifiably deem that which you consider 'a joke". over the past 2 centuries far more critical decisions have been interpreted and ruled by our S.C., which is why our Constitution is adaptable to time and applicable to changes in the dynamic of population and culture. Don't be so naive.

  • You know! Clinton should be impeached for obstructing justice by blatantly lying! But Bush sitting in a classroom for 7 minutes is a huge! gigantic! Crime?........ This guy gives me a headache!

  • When Clinton lied, No one died.

  • Bill Maher on politics is like Rosie O'donnel on dieting.

Wait, that's not a fair comparison. It's a little too insulting to Rosie.

  • your analogies are like pregnant cats

  • You on analogies is like Rosie O'Donnell giving a speech on cock.

Bad-a-bing!!! Maher is smart, are you serious?

  • Bill Maher is not smart, he is arrogant. By being so smug and full of himself, it creates the false impression that he must know what he's talking about. It works on people uninformed enough to accept a comedian's political commentary as anything but a comedy routine. If you do, the joke's on you.

  • O.K. he is on TV......what do you do? He actually has professional people who seek his political opinion.......who seeks your opinion? One should be careful calling someone else smug and full of themself, you run the risk of seeming smug and full of yourself. Your joke is on you.

  • Any "professional" seeking Maher's opinion is only having him on their program for ratings (meaning it is probably not a very noteworthy program to begin with), as his shamelessly controversial shock-humor tends to generate, the "no publicity is bad publicity" mentality. Shock-humor, by the why, is often utilized as a comedian's last resort for attention when he realizes he has no genuine comedic talent.

  • What, about anything he says in this clip, do you disagree with?

  • Maher did a fine job embarrassing himself in this clip. At first he said Bush should be impeached for declaring war, although only Congress can do so and the vote was unanimous on both sides. After the host reminds him of this little detail he changes stance, saying that having the audacity to think about what to do a few minutes after hearing the country is under attack is impeachable. Saying "Impeach Bush" is the shock that gets the viewer's attention, but then he fails to justify his claim.

  • So would you defend George Bush's presidency? It's pretty clear looking back at GWB's presidency that the whole thing was a colossal mistake, I mean it was mistake after mistake. George Bush is without a doubt one of the worst president in US history, a lot of people I know are saying that - a lot of conservative people who voted for him too.

  • First of all, most people who actually KNOW about all of the past presidents consider Jimmy Carter to be the worst in history. Bush was mediocre, but Carter was so horrible that he was among the only presidents to have lost their reelection, by a landslide 49 to 489 electoral votes. Today, Carter contributes to politics by calling anybody who disagrees with obama a racist.

Second, I'm not defending Bush's presidency, I'm just saying Maher failed in his attempt to justify Bush's impeachment.

  • Maher spends way too much time snorting cocaine off wannabe tv starlets' hips to be taken seriously on politics. He's a coke head with a chip on his left shoulder. Anyone who really follows world politics can spot his act from a thousand miles away. Loved him in Earth Girls are Easy, though, from back in the 80's. An Oscar worthy performance there. I know then that he was meant for great things on the political front. (yep, that's sarcasm)

  • So you have seen this man do cocaine?

  • I love both of their shows

  • NO FU*K Bill ! I saw Bill after 911 when the 911 Truthsayers were in the audience pleading with Bill during a broadcast , asking about the whole 911 investigation ... but good old Bill played his card , even as far as to act like he was going nto the audience acting like he's going to peronally going to throw some heckler out ???? Give me a break ! Bill's jumping on the 911 truthsayers wagon because he has to . And he will spin it becuase he has a 6 dight salary and has a collar on him

  • I don't agree with Bill on everything, but this I absolutely do. How is the president supposed to react? How about, "Excuse me children I something I need to attend to" and off the boardroom with the strategists and experts. Instead he sits there and reads a children's book? I mean come on..hellllloooooo

  • yOU sIR ARE A cocksucking cum guzzling republican cunt WITH jesus christs cock up yoru ass and BUSHs DICK DOWN YOUR THROAT. IGNORANT MOTHERFUCKERS LIEK YOU EXPECT OBAMA TO CORRECT 8 YEARS OF BUSH FUCK UPS IN 9 MONTHS.. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YORU ASS FUCKWAD.

  • wow thats intelligent, you have a real potty mouth.

there is no proof that bush lied about anything

  • I didn't blame Bush for sitting in the chair, Presidents are as entitled to be shocked by catastrophes as the rest of us, and I supported the "war" against extremist terrorist groups.

Where Bush lost the plot was when it became clear that someone's head had to be put on a spike to make up for 9/11. They couldn't get Bin Laden so they went after Saddam and they lied every step of the way in order to justify what they were doing.

Bush and Tony Blair should both have been prosecuted.

  • I wonder how Bill Sat there and so simply explained what Bush should have done at the moment of notice. Did Bill camly repeat himself about 3 or 4 times in this interview? I would have got up and left the interview. I cannot sit there and talk to a ignorant person for that long. Thank you Bill for keeeping your cool.

  • I love Bill Maher, but he seems to have some phobias about being interviewed.

  • How do you react to '' we are under attack''? Fire all weapons?

  • u investagate. ask questions. get the facts. u don't sit there and do nothing.

  • by the way that I am anyway convinced that Bush already knew that this "terrorist attack" will come, .. he had to be not so stupid to show the world so clearly that he is an complete incompentent president by doing for 7 long minutes NOTHING !

If he (or at least his advisors) would have been just a little bit more intelligent, he would gave the show of " well, I am the president, and , of course, I react immediately".

But this guy is right : Bush did much more worse things than this

  • god that anchorman pisses me off...

  • Everyone Please read Sarah's comments on Page 3. She gave the most intelligent comments of all here so far. Bush had to have known. IF he did not already know, then Sarah's point about our own reaction could have made a tremendous difference. Let's say Sarah's insight was correct. IF it were and Bush sat there and didn't react.. we might now be reading this right now.. None of us!! He

Should have got up immediately to find out all he could...but why would he, since he already knew!

  • I have to give scarborough right here. I don't think that the biggest mistake Bush did was waiting 7 min in that classroom.

  • LIHOP

    Impeach them all.

  • Maher thinks Bush should be impeached for sitting through a children's story! That's a high crime? As opposed to what, jumping up and crying? Running to New York to stop the planes himself?

Guess what Bill, Bush doesn't write the laws, he is the President, he just signs what Congress gives him. If a law is unconstitutional, the Supreme Court ends it, thats how the system works. You don't go right to blaming and impeaching the President, dipshit.

  • Whether he writes the laws or not is irrelevant in a situation such as this. He's the president, he's first in command, the fact that he just sat there is ridiculous on so many levels

  • Why? Its up to Congress to make sure everything is legal. And if it is illegal, like many laws have been in the past, the Supreme Court simply nullifies it, nobody gets impeached for it.

How long did he sit there for? 2 minutes? 5 minutes? The President obviously didn't want to cause a panic, and frankly there was nothing he could have done in that 2 minute period. The FAA and NORAD already had control of everything. It did not make a difference because it was just unfolding at the time.

  • Wrong if NORAD had everything undercontrol the aledged planes would of been downed. we have one of the most policed air spaces on the globe.

  • There were also thousands of planes in the air at the time. They WERE downing every plane, but it takes hours to get all those planes on the ground.

NORAD was created for the purpose of monitoring Soviet missiles from outside, not planes within US airspace.

  • I agree with the soviet missle and us plane perspective. NORAD is not an internally concerned organization. They do not know how to handle international crisis' inside their borders.

  • He is the commander and chief.

  • So? He commands the military. That doesn't mean HE is the one who starts the wars. He can't wage any war unless Congress lets him. They control all the funds in this country

  • LMAO saying maher owned him doesn't do it justice. that was a complete demolition of joey joe joe. it is indefensible for bush to have sat there for 7 minutes when our country could have been in the process of being taken over for all he knew. that f'n moron. worst president in history, bar none. valerie plame, katrina, a war of choice, no bin laden capture or death to this day, tax policies and the lack of oversight that crushed the economy, the nomination of maid to the supreme court...

  • Maher owneddddd him

  • If you're one of the jury members from the courtroom scene on Idiocracy, he did, yes.

  • we gave nazis new identities and used them against the russians, and they did the same against us. and the msnbc guy cracks me up. YES i do think the pres. should have ran out of the classroom when we got attacked. and he did nothing and that shows lack of the ability to act and take charge. msnbc is such a bs news group.

  • Bullshit. Where was Bill Clinton the first time terrorists attacked the World Trade Centers? Getting a blow-job? Where was Bill Maher with all his talk of impeachment for not springing into action with the first attack? And why does everyone assume just because Bush tried not to panic, and CREATE a panic, that the military and many others behind the scenes, working the front lines were not already springing into action? The president does not do EVERYTHING in the government.

  • I vote Bill Maher for president

  • I'd vote for him.

  • who is "them"? What is so bad about getting off your month long vacationing ass, where you were briefed that this would happen? You don't think a few of "those folks" were not getting off their ass, running from the center, not to mention jumping out of it? No, the president, in this cas, shit for brains, makes the call. You do not know nor have you ever consulted with the SS. Simple as that?

  • I dont even get whats the point of their fight...

because the president didnt react right away?

so why is this super-idiot anchorman trying to make this point sound stupid??

Theres so much proof that bush has the IQ of a rotten orange while the orange "knows" when its time to go...

  • Usually you go to war on more than suspicion, but hey, history can be spun wrong too.

  • Maher won

  • What happened to Scarbororogh country? I don't have Msnbc anymore...

    thx for the upload.

  • That's exactly why a man like Bush was voted into office twice. He represents a large number of Americans who are so fucking stupid, they believe that if one muslim is a terrorist, then they are all terrorist, if one muslim hates America, then they all hate America.

  • Ego battle, but Bill Maher is smarter.

  • UUUUHHHHH I hhhaaaattttteeeee these people mann dammmmnn they gave us a stupid president like bush for a reason people. Now they give us a do no wrong black one. How much can we take

  • thats the most angry ive seen bill maher get

  • I don't blame him for getting angry - that interviewer is a f%*ing idiot ! .......... IF it had been nuclear those 7 mins would have meant USA nuke deterrent being severely compromised - this guy is a complacent F%&ing imbecile.....

  • Read my comments please.

  • Back in the old days incomptence was a crime ;)

  • come on people. i am a far greater supporter of bill than of joe but to talk about impeachment for that kind of incompetance, incompetance that became characteristic of bush is ridiculous. he ought to be in some way prosecuted over the iraq war as should many people involved with it, but the 7 minutes thing is petty. lastly, to even mention the opinion of sean hannity, as he did, is a joke to me. religilous was great thought and i love real time

  • the wonderful book that bush could not be pulled away from was my pet goat . Sounds satanic when put into perspective ,

  • i think him and nancy raegan sacraficed a goat later that day but maybe i dont have my facts straight.

  • I respect Bill Maher for not being blind like most people of this world. Im glad he his getting word out to people like this. Religilous was amazing, and he did a great job at portraying religion and its defects.

And yes, the commander in chief should be quick to react in times of attack and emergencies. I think that if he did not react almost instantly, within at least 30 seconds with at least an IDEA of what to do, that is impeachable. We need leaders who have intellect and quick reaction.

  • Don't Mess with Bill!!!

  • this whole arguement is a smoke screen for the real arguement and the larger agenda on a whole. you want to impeach bush for not reacting? you should impeach bush and the prosecute the zionist illuminati for ochestrating the whole iraq war and maybe soon the pakistan and iran wars.

  • This video brings to my mind the most psychologically painful recollections I've ever experienced in my adult life. It mirrors also the reality of just how ineffectual the office of Presidency had become on that day, at that moment. Irony exemplified by the fact that Cheney was instantly shuttled to safe-haven 5 stories below ground under W.H. with fleet of 250medical personnel and security force while Shrub went airborne for the next 14 hours as a moving target stopping only to refuel!

  • OMFG! @ 4:19 exists the most indicting record of poor Scarborough's naivete and ignorance. What was he (NOT)thinking?!!!

  • You're right sir, correct. This planet isn't good enough for you sir. The ship is waiting... go in peace sir.

  • And you are a shill Kibblebones, using shill techniques, calling names, saying people are idiots, acting like you are the only one with the "real" facts. Pretending you work at NIST. Give me a f'n break.

  • 9/11 was an inside job. Tv fakery. INVESTIGATE.

  • idiot
