They, too, thought it was "part of being a teenager" (or in my case a "rebellious" teen!) and that I would listen to more "mainstream" or "popular" music as I "matured" (??). Well, on August 30, 2010, I gonna' be 40 and I'm, STILL, listening to metal music and "classic" or "old school" rock, in general.

Don't feel bad. I was 12 when I got into metal music and 13 when the Crue were promoting "Shout..." and back then, I had VERY LITTLE or NO ACCESS to metal music. I had NO IDEA Motley Crue did an in-store or "meet-and-greet" with the fans to promote "Shout..." at Seattle's then-known as Tower Records (today, that same store is called Silver Platters). I'm watching this and I thinking, "Look at all the (Seattle) rockers! in my opinion, the Crue looked great and the girls (WOW) looked fantastic!
