I was looking for something to replace my Roland MC-808 (great place to start for beginners by the way), I still don't want to get a standard looking keyboard, I like groove boxes and sequencers, so I was researching the Radikal Spectralis 2 and heard someone mention this, it seems so limited and elusive, anyone know much about it?
the problem with software hosts sending midi clock and data to external gear is that the clock is often unstable, giving nasty swing, delay pitching, and lfo slip ups. its best to go with a hardware sequencer when you have to deal with hardware synths and samplers.
crazy stuff and awesome
now I need to win the lottery and get a bigger sound shed :)
