He indeed does look a bit pretentious in this video, but I don't think he really is that. Maybe he is bored and tries to amuse himself. I think he's quite good when in addition to singing a nice ballad he can also play interesting basslines that go well with the song and don't seem like he's just showing off.

I don't personally know Seth so I am not able to agree with you. But keep in mind that there is a difference between arrogance and confidence; between pretentiousness and ambition.

yea very good point man, i'm not gonna be a typical guy who argues with anothers point, but confidence has a fine line between that and posing. its just my honest opinion i think he's a great bassist but from his body language and interviews it puts him across as quite arrogant.

I have known Seth for almost 3 years now, and for a guy who can hang with pretty much any electric bass player, he's a pretty modest guy. He knows what he likes and knows what he doesn't. Hes not Micheal Manring by any means but he is also no Jaco. (talking in terms of attitude not talent)

he has 3 solo cd's, 2 full lenth and one is sort of, 5-6 tracks of purley him and bass (latest release) there are no tabs, swth said it would take to long to tab with his busy schedule, and wouldnt give them out if he did, but..theres an amazing vidio of a 14 year old boy who has learned 2 of his songs, so...try harder ''playing'' rather than asking :P

@elmejordetexas I'm the same way; I'm a huge metal listening but blues and jazz and w/e category seth is under :-p just really gets to me. Although I listen to metal I find it easy to play bass like this than just aggressive heavy riffs
