wtf man? while the rest of the bloc underwent reforms after the helsinki accords even after de-Stalinization romania never had any of those ceausescu was trying to get rid of romanias national debt and he did but at what price! it got so bad there that people didn't have heating because ceausescu exported EVERTTHING! around the mid 80s my aunt left a glass of water in her work over night...she came back the next day and it was frozen solid! her and my cousins had to sleep in their winter coats!
