I saw these CATS at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago...they were SMOKIN'!! I wish somebody would post "He was a Friend of Mine" from Roomful with Big Joe Turner on vocals...gotta love this!!

this band was originally founded by Duke Robillard i believe. whom is no longer part of it. Nobody plays cleaner these days than Duke.

porky cohen unfortunately passed away a few years ago. he was one of the best!

The trombone player who was with them over the many years I went to see them

was 'Porky', as I recall, and was quite a bit older than the rest of the band, hope

he's still doing well, he used to tear it up and was a big part of the overall personality of the band. These guys have been playing about 300 nights a year for a very long time, and anyone can only do that for so long.

I am totally behind the slamdunk9 comment. The horn section was the most distinctive thing about this band. Why mess up a good thing?

I agree with what was said on another RFOB video. This band needs to bring back the trombone. The horn section sounds like it lost 20 guys.
