I have read the Quran but don't recognize the part about men being tempted mainly by women cause of their nature. Which verse is it?
What I do remeber is two verses, one for men and the other one for women which both says that we should look down (in times of temptation). It does say in other verses that woman should cover up untill whats being seen i appropriate and that women should cover up properly when she goes out to get respect. I have read the Quran but don't recognize the part about men being tempted mainly by women cause of their nature. Which verse is it?
What I do remeber is two verses, one for men and the other one for women which both says that we should look down (in times of temptation). It does say in other verses that woman should cover up untill whats being seen i appropriate and that women should cover up properly when she goes out to get respect. Those are interpretationfor every muslim to make though.

She is a tilth (dirt to be plowed) and says the husband may take her any way or time he pleases. This spells out that the wife has no say. Therefore in Islam does not consider wife rape to be rape at all because the wife has no say.

According to verses 24,2 - 9, the punishment for cheating is 100 lashes. Those who can't prove their claims about someone having cheated with 4 vitnesses (no specified gender) should be punished with 80 lashes.
If a man claims that his wife has cheated with only himself as witness he must swear 4 times that its true and curse himself if he lies. She should be free from punishment if she swear 4 times that he lies and curses herself if she lies.

Its only when males are not available that the Sharia court even wants to hear from a woman, and then her testimony is worth half of his. This is why all rape cases fail. The rules are stacked against the victim. The (male) perp has to AT HIS OPTION confess in order for there to be a conviction, EVEN IF there is physical evidence..

It is not until later verses (later than the one which says females worth half), after statements prohibiting the scribe (modern day = court reporter) should not becoming weary or lazy when taking down testimony, after statements that witness tampering is a bad thing, after elucidating lots of rules, then it casually mentions financial transactions.

Then it blathers on about how witness tampering is bad, and how the scribe should not tire even if the testimony is long, etc. Much later refers to cases of financial matters. Hence it is prescribed for the woman to cover herself, and the man to control his gaze. That also applies to women as well though. There was a story where the prophet asked women to lower their gazes from a blind man after they stated that he could not see them.

Jesus or Essa (as we call him in Islam) WAS NOT CRUCIFIED! He did not die. We believe in him as a prophet (messenger) of Allah. It is your misunderstanding that you took his miraculous birth to be a false sign of him being God. He was born to virgin Mary (or Maryam as we call her in Islam) and you took him to be god. If you can believe that a person born from a single parent can become god, then why don't you believe in Adam as god, who by the way, has no parents?

Mr. Saad, I'm not supporting the violence committed by the Hindus, but it was just retaliatory - may be not to an immediately preceding incident, but the rage boiling in them over all these years. They feel oppressed and intimidated in the country which has been their own land for centuries, before conversion was forced upon its people. I do, however, agree that walking about semi-nude is an open invitation to men. A burkha is not necessary though. Mighty uncomfortable.
