  • young KRS-One looks like meek mill to me loool my opinion

  • KRS-One should save us from all the pain and just end Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake's career. Please im begging u Mr.KRS. SAVE THE WORLD!

  • "every year I write a battle rhyme for the top 10 rappers" lmfaoo shut.. Tha... Fuck.. Up! Bullshit

  • @CeazeThaBeast Why is that so hard to believe, KRS is basicly untouchable in Hip-Hop now, no one is going to fuck with he because they cant, and why cant they? cuz he will end their whole career.. Like he said its how he practices, i think u may be getting "battle rap" confused with "battle rhyme", in this he is reffering to someone calling him out in record, and him making a record to completely destroy them. To be honest every rapper should probably do that, like rhyme insurance

  • KRS One needs to perform some of those disses. Most of the top ten rapper right now I can't stand.

  • i favorited and liked this video before I even watched all of it, just beacause of that KRS One clip about the top 10 billboard battle rap

  • " I have a rhyme to battle you

    Straight up,

    That will destroy your career"

    --KRS-ONE

  • KRS release Your Rhymes about Billboard top 10 pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • @fogito21 you mad

  • what song is the first one?

  • CMON! Much of "them" will never reach the level of krs 1...

Ill never forget his name; Hes a lyrical Idol for the human race: a real Master of Ceremony!

    Much respect!

  • Damn, why don't people rap anymore?

    They really destroyed the artform.

Now all you get is one verse that don't even rhyme no more.

And some loser trying to sing through an auto-tune and still sucks.

I want real hip hop like KRS-1 back.

  • @newlytrollin Listen to Hopsin - Nocturnal Rainbows and hos other work, such as "Sag My Pants" and "Hot 16's". He attacks mainstream rappers, and our blindfolded and brainwashed society.

  • @RubberyDreams Good for him

  • "I have a battle rhyme, and it will destroy your career." Damn...That scared me. KRS is one of the greats.

  • respect the teacher

  • Krs is a great lyricist but he is way to arrogant

  • " no disrespect; it's just the way i practice". the mighty krs!

  • QD3 is the biggest sellout in hiphop history for not paying canibus or easy-e. I'm sure qd3 (or is it qd2 1/2?) will come out trying to hustle for a minstrel dance pretty soon. Ridiculous. He took a topic of relevance and ruined it with his own selfishness.

  • KRS One is one of the greatest lyricists/teachers to ever grace the mic. He deserves much respect.

  • It's hard to believe Supernat was coming off the top

  • Krs is garbage.....simpleton rhymes.....he would get murdered by anyone on top ten

  • @SteadeeB KRS One is a legend , you are just a troll with a computer .....lol

  • @the20hunk i dont see him destroying anyones career

  • @SteadeeB how are you gonna say KRS-1 is garbage? people are entitled to their opinions about what styles they like- but like him or not - he's a legend.

  • I said "gobbij? MC Shan is gobbij.

  • KRS should be the ambassador of Hip Hop, not stupid ass money hungry Jay-Z. Sick of jigga trying to explain Hip Hop culture, it ain't hip hop no more it's pop culture, KRS is the TRUTH.

  • Growing up in the Bronx I remember it like yesterday the constant battles the up & coming rapppers the hottest DJ's from all over New York .... Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Hip Hop & Rap has come a long way but back then that's when Rap was Rap... it was great growing up back then & listening to all these rappers... this DVD isthe shit it tells you how it pretty much all began... a great piece of rap history right here folks... Peace...

  • Love it! Wanna hear some dope shit - joints that KRS-ONE considers deep? Well go to Valley of Decision & Who are you by K-Rino on youtube. If the Roget's Thesauras could walk and talk, it would look like K-Rino - the difference is, he gives narrative structure and ponderance to the weight of the words he spits. This brother has been on the grind since 1986 ("officially"), but was bumping fire before that - this brother could rap to one hand clapping and still be dope!

  • a battle rhyme for the top 10. wow, now thats the real king right there.

  • Comment removed

  • "Gawbage? MC Shan is Gawbage" Gotta love that east coast accent.

  • Gawbage???

  • 4 letters...

    THE BRIDGE IS OVER

  • @131093720 letters or words? lol

  • @gmn545

    lmfao ohh yeah

  • he didnt want any beef with kool g hahahahaa

  • didn't KRS-1 attack PM DAWN?

  • lil wayne&young money be careful krs-1 will destroy you

  • @elryck94 I'd love to hear those battle raps.

  • Krs One should be a comedian. His facial expressions and the way he articulates himself is jokes.

  • "i have a rhyme to battle you straight up, that'll destroy your career" so funny KRS = legend.

  • Mob, that's a bold statement...lol. But I respect it. I would put PAC in top 20. But he got popular when he died.

  • gahhbige

  • i love conscious rappers but this nigga is an idiot, he said he was happy when the 9/11 hit so finally people would realize what its like in the hood..............*dead*

  • \SuperNatural Best FreeStylerRrrRrRrR!!

  • He's like a black dad

  • Lol, KRS seems so fukken chill.

  • Kool G Rap wasn't with the Juice Crew yet. When he did join, he had that futuristic rhyme style that rappers still try to get today. He ripped it on both Symphonies.

  • i searched 2:40 to get to this video

  • I Like How Krs Has So Much Confidence When He Says "Straight Up, That Will Destroy Your Career".....Awesome!! Haha

  • i want to hear these battle rhymes

  • 3:05 haha

  • SO KRS ONE COULD DESTROY EMINEM'S CARREAR?? LOL FUCK...

  • See KRS One you's a Bitch ass Hater.. You did that same shit to MC Shan. Snuck in a Diss that no one seen coming. You got on doing some bullshit and co-sign LL for sneaking Canibus. LL is the reason why Lyricist don't exist in mainstream no more. That last MC to actually be lyrical with substance Niggas tried to kill off because he would've exposed these weak Niggas.

  • You say Justin Bieber-I say Tupac

You say Lil Wayne-I say Eminem

You say Drake-I say Ice Cube

You say Soulja Boy-I say Big Pun

You say New school-i say shut the fuck up

You say Pop-I scream Hip Hop!

You say Hannah Montana-i fucking punch you in the face

92% of teenagers have turned to New school and Pop.If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another 5 videos. Don't let the real hip hop die!

  • @1mauricioO im sick of hearin this shit on vids look we all hate bieber and the others so why mention them just let us enjoy guys like krs one 2pac and ice cube without reminding us of the horrors of bieber drake and lil wayne and its only punks ass kids from the suburbs and rich kids who like new school all of us from the hood still rep 2pac biggie eazye ice cube and all of them big pun was a wannabe though

  • @the1trupenguin lmao i bet ur white

  • @BloDatKush412 why? and im not im black of somalian parents my name is zahir said i come from brooklyn new york and im 34 and married to a white woman all i was saying was on all the vids i see stuff like that and im sick of it i listen to 2pac to get away from those guys and i hate it when they are brought up and what does lmao mean?

  • @the1trupenguin Ya right Big Pun was a wannabe, he dropped dope shit especially in his earlier years when he rapped with Big L and the underground set. If anyone on your list is a wankster doin wack shit its Ice Cube. That mother fucker is seriously gonna come off Westside Connect Gang Bow Down to bein a D list actor doin shit like Are we there yet and a laundry list of other lame movies. Thats some fuckin text book sellout shit right there. At least Pun repped real hip hop till his death.

  • @SickKnowledge82 i agree that ice cube shouldnt of stopped repping compton to be in crappy movies but i cant control him but in his day he was infitely better than big pun im not hating on pun i liked some of his songs but he just tryed to hard to be gangsta

  • @1mauricioO New Eminem sucks and 2Pac sucked the whole time he was alive, most overrated rapper of all time.

  • @MobKnowledge are you on crack? 2pac sucks? u dont know anythin about Hip Hop making a comment like that. Tupac is Hip Hop, it was more than lyrics he was saying, since 2pac people think being dope is just lyrical, man a wack person can be lyrical, still doesnt mean anything to Hip Hop, ur talkin out ur ass buddy.. so do your research bout 'pac, cause were not just talking about music here, its the fact that somone like 2pac actually existed at one time, UR A YOUNG HEAD, go read a book

  • @MuzicFiendFury Oh man, why's everyone always on a rush to jump on Pac's nuts whenever he gets mentioned. Dude's all like, "It's time to heal our women, be real to our women" one minute, then, "All respect to those that break they necks to keep they hoes in check" the next. How can a guy who releases both "Brenda's Got a Baby" and "Ambitionz as a Ridah" ever be considered 'real'?

And just because I'm young doesn't mean I'm dumb, so stop with the pompous, "wise old man" internet posturing.

  • @MobKnowledge Pac is the real! You just have to listen to him...understand him...he never disrespected our women in general. He only called certain individuals out 'cause of there actions. The people that love Tupac, like him so much only 'cause the feel him...we can relate...

  • He has a battle rhyme for lil wayne ludacris nas jay z t.i kanye west justin bieber usher trey songz soulja boy pink lady gaga michael jackson prince elvis

  • @kidsuagga KRS-One loves Nas.

  • Well dammit KRS! what are you waiting for!

u have the secret to save hip hop!!

  • 2\3 CLUUBHEAD WIGGER LOVERS!!...

  • KRS ONE's nose could fead fucking Africa on it's own.. that's a whole lotta meat SON!

  • KRS ONE: GARBAGE? 3:07 lol

  • Golden days

  • THE BRIDGE IS OVER !

  • no top ten billboard artist responded to krs-one, and his battle raps. But krs-one has no career now.....funny he says hes going to end career ,he dident even kill nellys career haha

  • @yayo8913 What you talking bout he has no career now? And he said this before the rich jews got involved in hip hop and krs one never sold out to them. I mean everyone knows theres plenty of mcs out there that could kill lil wayne and all that shit. But the record companys made it about money not rhymes. that's why krs one could kill all of them and they all stay away.

  • @BakerBadBrains

It doesn't take a so-called "rich jew" to lure a ton of young black men to pimp themselves & enter the modern-day minstrel show. Take some fucking responsibility and suck on some accuracy. Ya, some old Jewish farts pimped young folks in the record biz... so did Berry Gordy at Motown; so do a ton of CEOs today. Nobody's forcing lil wayne or flocka flame to be brainless clowns.. they're willingly doing it themselves.. and proudly displaying stupidity for younger kids to emulate.

  • @thekerneljames Fuck it not worth my time

  • @BakerBadBrains .. cuz u know i'm right.. cuz u know too many of these new "artists" are clowns. No one's forcing them to be that way & they're helping kids think that's the "new cool". Too many kids checking for the next soulja boy and not the next Roots. Dumbing down, indeed.. but that's America on the whole, as well.

  • @yayo8913

Yayo, i'll smash you w/ a hard copy of KRS' new book, "The Gospel Of Hiphop" then stamp THE TEMPLE OF HIPHOP in your stupid face so deep, the back wall of your pea-brain will hallucinate upon the pyramids. Get your facts straight. He can play any club anywhere in the world & tear it down. No career... lol...u're a retard.

  • @thekerneljames hes legend he paid dues and put in work granted but not gonna lie hes not relavient any more unless ur stuck in the past and he dosent represent for every one in hip hop and he's' fool of him self and hes the same guy that said he cheered when 911 happened, i luv hip hop nd hip hop every artist but im not a fan of artist that are full of them selfs even if hes broke he can still feel full of himself and temple of hip hop get over it!! I DONT WANNA B LECTURED AND FALL ASLEEP LOL

  • @yayo8913 Maybe you haven't heard him enough. He's not arrogant.. he's happy to share knowledge & wisdom. He has a genuine love for the goodness & talent in people.. if you can't see that, i don't know what to tell you. He's not alienating & lecturing AT you.. he's inviting everyone to the party of mental & spiritual elevation. If you're falling asleep, the problem may be in how you receive the light. Re the 911 comment, that was taken outta context. Watch the clip w/ him & Sean Hannity.

  • @yayo8913 summer time 2011 nelly not banging nothing out krs got i think 20 albums or so

  • So a Black man that is intelligent, smart and humble is arrogant. Some of you are such retards.

  • I swear, KRS one is hilarious. LOL, in fact there's so much humor and brilliance in hip hop. Hopefully we can drop the modern hip hop killings and get back to OGs.

  • Krs one sucks he couldn't even finish nelly

  • @SonnyBoy437 wat the fok you talking about,

he destroyed nelly, you never heard ova here??

the only reason nelly actually sold albums after that is because hte music indeustry had already degraded to corny ass pop shit, and ignoratn motha fuckers love that shit

THE REAL HIP HOP IS OVA HERE!!!

  • let me make it clear for old skool hip hop. KRS-one is wack. he thinks & has an attitude like he invented hip hop. (no homo) but he's a baseball mit nose ugly looking kat

  • @bigm4ever1 I always tell people that but some industry people that I have talked to have said that he's not the arrogant pompous person he comes off to be lol

  • @bigm4ever1 That's very disrespectful, and ignorant. Everyone is African and all our ancestors had very wide noses to deal with the hot weather. And you give no evidence to back your claim that he is wack. I'm not saying I support or not but clearly you have no intellect or respect, and need to educate yourself before proving your dumbness by posting such nonsense.

  • No offence, but mc shan did way better old school joints than KRS1 that went too commercial. Mc shan's stuff was truly underground heavy beats, thanks to marley.

  • The irony of the bullshit that's out now is that it's given me an appreciation of West Coast hip-hop from the late 80's and early 90's which, being a New Yorker, I never would've listened to back then. If ANYTHING is an expression of just how bad things have gotten, that's it, right there!!! Hip-hop's been dead for almost fifteen years, as far as I'm concerned. Now, if you can't extrapolate my definition of REAL hip-hop from that, then there's no hope you will ever understand what it is.

  • krs one's dumbass started that beef for no reason, but supernatural is a beast, best freestyle rapper hands down

  • supernat;s freestyle was dope!

  • supernat's free wats off the chain!

  • The guy freestlying, looks like a rappist

  • ;iubi;ubi;jb;kjkjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjb;kjbkb

  • i want to hear those rhymes for the top 10 artists now

  • lol did he write the rhyme for pac too? i wanna hear

  • GAWWWBIJJ???

  • Comment removed

  • so when the fuck are u gonna diss justin beiber krs ???lol

  • if wasnt ms shan. no krs one no peace declaration no gospel of hip hop. i thing mc shan is legend to!

  • krs has a huge wide nose. anyone else notice that 'cept me?

  • How many mc's must get dissed

before somebody whispers don't fuck with Bis

my 'survivor skills' surpass Kris, watch this

you got a rap for every MC? GO GET IT THEN

Why u dickride Def Jam, they not ya friend

make your mind up, i thought u was not with them

fucking comedy, speaking on flawed philosophy

    CANIBUS -- KRIMINAL KINDNESS

  • i grew up listening to krs-and still am... he a legend man he started from beef so you cant diss krs... is like going against tank with a pistol

  • No disrespect, but KRS always strikes me as a big adult idealistic smart-ass hippy

    -__-

  • @royalsteven

he is all of those things you described him as, but being a smart-ass idealist is exactly what enabled him to smash m.c. shan and others in his battles and build his career to what it is.

  • @royalsteven

Maybe to you that is what he is, but to me he is a hip-hop pioneer who raps about things that matter, who has substance in his lyrics, and is someone unafraid to call it as it is. KRS-One IS Hip Hop

  • To me too. We need people like him in hiphop. Im just saying the way he talks/behaves sometimes remind me of the mad professor :D

  • where can i find the whole vid?

  • I guess KRS has a rhyme for Justin Beiber, Lil wayne, Lady Gaga, Soulja boy etc that could potentially end their career.

  • @islandwarrior16 nowadays i don't think so...people won't understand.many people think hip hop is wearing jules and look like a pimp

  • @islandwarrior16 KRS doesnt have to end their carrers theyre doing it themselves

  • @islandwarrior16 i highly doubt KRS could end any of their careers

  • @FutureCollegeDropout he couldn't even end nellys career LOL

  • @WeezyHOVaUryu1994 ikr LOL

  • @islandwarrior16 Not the hot 100, the hip hop 100.

  • @islandwarrior16

    LOL! Thats funny.

  • @islandwarrior16 1st of all Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga aint even hip hop so why even bring them up. 2nd of all, KRS-One is a Lil Wayne fan so we're outta luck there.

  • hahahaha KRS is my hero..."I said...GARBAGE???? MC SHAM IS GARBAGE!"

  • anyone else hate krs one ? lol

  • @ValyenFluff I'm with you! I thought no one else agreed, because a lot of lame kids from Ohio act like he's their prophet or something. But I'm sick of him rapping about "the good old days", which he's been doing for about 20 years. It's time for something new.

  • @FeloniousDrunk That may be true, but he deserves worship for his Boogie Down days those records are CLASSICS regardless of what he raps about now

  • @jeffreybiderpdee I don't think any man deserves worship, but that's just me. However, I do love his older stuff from when he was still relevant. The first few BDP records are undeniably classic.

  • @ValyenFluff No

  • SUPERNATURAL IS AWESOME.

  • Krs-One Is Fucking Fool,Talking The Same Shit For 20 Years,Grow Up Or Catch Up...

  • @kole081 Truth stands against time. Go take your blind ass into the traffic of life.

  • @kole081 your a fucking idiot!! krs-one is a legend!!!

  • @andyeminem23 Legend Of Woot?,Of The Falls?

  • @kole081 if you dont kno you dont need to bro, go listen to wayne

  • @kole081 wat was that?

  • @andyeminem23 Bottom Line,I Have 30 Years N Since I Was 14 He Is Talking The Same Fucking Shit.Eric B N Rakim,Big Daddy Kane,O.C.,Leaders Of The New School,A Tribe Called Quest,Biz Markie,LL Cool J Etc....N That My Son R Fucking Legends.He Is Good When It Comes 2 Talking,But As Artist Never

  • @kole081 thats your opinion but when all those names are mentioned KRS-ONE is is mentioned as well

  • @RipMatic yeah too bad they mostly sucked. His stuff with Buckshot was hot, but largely because Buckshot's dope

  • "No disrespect" "straight up, it will destroy your career"

Truth indeed be told.He don't talk shit, ever. KRS is like superman, he's got no need to.

  • WOW. There's straight ignorance and hatred in these comments. You guys need to respect KRS and all the other legends in hip-hop.

  • who is this fatso, he needs some new clothes

  • @elpisco That fatso is the reason why Eminem writes beats. KRS-1 is a legend, youtube it.

  • hip hop historian?....lmao

  • Younguns have to realize that "The Bridge" was the shit when it came out and Marley Marl was the Rza at the time...The Juice Crew was like the Wu Tang Clan at the time, MC Shan was like a Drake or Nelly....he was'nt the most lyrical but dude could rhyme...Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap was like Ghostface and Raekwon...only they rarely did records together...Biz Markie was like Method Man, Masta Ace was their Inspectah Deck, and Roxxxane Shante was their Lil Kim...BDP just killed them!

  • "gawwbage!? mc shan is gawwbage!!" hahaha. damn, i'd really like to hear those freestyles on t.i., eminem, and wayne. i guess krs is letting those guys live for now...

  • He should release those battle raps and get rid of these fake rappers like lil wayne and rick ross.

  • Lol, KRS-ONE would be so sick to chill with, his personality is awesome.

  • Gawwbage -- No one can say garbage like KRS One, I can "feel" when he's about to say it.

  • mc shan and soulja slim have the same bday, i know cuz it's my bday too

  • krs one solo shit goes hard check out "return of the boom bap"

  • EVERY CURRENT RAPPER FROM EMININ to KAYNE OWES A BIT OF GRATITUDE TO KRS.....FROM A-Z......EVERYONE ON THE CURRENT MAP SHOULD PAY HONOR TO HIM......KRS-1 FOR PRESIDENT.........

  • @marc08110 what about Kool Moe Dee

  • @marc08110 fuck him!!!!!

  • @marc08110 Fuck KRS-One.. biggest fucking hypocrite in the history of hip-hop.. i aint paying no honor to him

  • @sergey023 Explain that shit, mo'fucka! For real ... that's fucking blasphemy you speakin', kid.

  • @daTruChosen pretty easy to explain..

the guy wouldnt get his career going without DISSING somebody.. then all of a sudden he tells people that "one of the hip-hop rules is NOT to battle KRS-One"

he always talks about positivity in hip-hop yet, Criminal Minded was so fucking positive when he was holding his guns, same with BDP album with them as a Malcom X on a cover, he is a huge hypocrite thats what i dont like him. I got mad love for MC Shan, KRS One, Kool G Rap, Rakim and many many more

  • @sergey023 The Malcolm X album cover was a play on the album's title "By Any Means Necessary". You won't find a black person in the WORLD who would associate a cultural hero (Malcolm X) standing for his peoples' right to defend themselves with anything negative. So, I'm assuming you're not black ... which makes debating hip-hop with you comical. REAL hip-hop (1987 - 1996) was created BY urban youth FOR urban youth. You can speak on the today's fake bullshit; it's been crafted for suburbia.

  • @sergey023 If you still don't get it ... Malcolm X said "By Any Means Necessary" in his speech. The album's cover, and it's imagery; and the album itself, were all BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!

  • @sergey023 REAL hip-hop truly is dead. And buried. That's why if I'm not listening to that Golden Age shit, I'm bumpin' Hendrix, Miles Davis, or Billie Holiday. Fuck that corporate, auto-tune, whitewashed, watered down fake-ass bullshit y'all be bumpin' now!!!! Bring me back some Brand Nubian ... some Gang Starr ... some Jeru the Damaja ... some Tribe Called Quest ... some Dead Prez ... some Black Star. That's REAL hip-hop, son!!! I'm through ventin'! Done pissed me off in this mo'fucka!!

  • @daTruChosen Not to intrude and no disrespect but that was BULLSHIT, if I may do my best impression and call you a backpacker because you gotta get out of that Nas mentality bro. Hip hop will always be alive in those willing to carry it on. I could just as well say playing the electric guitar is dead, but as long as there is a kid willing to pick up a guitar and rock the shit out of it then it will always be alive. I don't hate on mainstream hip hop because I enjoy it as well as the classics.

  • @daTruChosen But also I would like to know what you mean by REAL hip hop. Hip hop in its own right is intepreted to the time period and era. Back in the 80's it was all centralized in new york. Brooklyn and the bronx and those surrounding areas. It was then that the subjects were lighter, and there was the regular 1&2 rhymes. Then as the 80's began to wind down it moved to the west, and we started getting the harder grittier sounds of NWA.

  • @ss6truks Continuing off what I said.....when we got to NWA we started hearing more about the streets of LA and cali instead of the subways and graffiti we were used to hearing about NY. No longer were people breakdancing on boxes but they were gangbanging and capping people. People said this was the death of hip hop as well but now we call it a classic or OG shit, not to say that it wasn't but thats a pretty fucked up double standard.

  • @ss6truks Let me explain, Paduan ... Before 1987, hip-hop had not much in the way of artistic legitimacy. It was largely seen as a fad outside my community because it, honestly, lacked depth and breadth of scope. With the release of Criminal Minded and Paid in Full in '87, the creative range, profound social commentary, and supreme lyricism certain hip-hop artists possessed became apparent and undeniable. Following that, and for fully the next nine years, the art underwent three distinct ...

  • @ss6truks ...phases; the Afrocentric, self-affirming one defined by such artists as P.E., KRS-One, Poor Righteous Teachers, Intelligent Hoodlum, and Gang Starr; the 1st Generation of Alternative Hip-hop invented by the Jungle brothers and harnessed by acts like De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Brand Nubian, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Black Sheep, Da Alkaholiks, The Pharcyde, and Souls of Mischief and, finally, the East Coast Renaissance of 1994 when cats like Nas, Biggie, Meth, Jeru, The Roots ...

  • @ss6truks ... Redman, Keith Murray, and OutKast snatched the game back from West Coast Gangsta rap, which had the game in a chokehold from 1990 - 1993 because of classics like Amerikkka's Most Wanted, The Chronic, The Predator, Lethal Injection, and Doggystyle. After 1996, and following the deaths of both 2Pac and B.I.G., hip-hop transformed into this bullshit, mafioso nonsense (actually started in w/Raekwon's solo and that Firm garbage) that brought about its decline, and ultimate demise!!!!!!

  • @sergey023

    you don't get it bruh

  • @marc08110 if you ask me eminem is one of the guys that should recieve frattitude

  • @marc08110 if you ask me eminem is one of those guys that should receive gratitude

  • @andyeminem23 fuck Em ... what did he CONTRIBUTE to hip-hop, other than shed light on the already well-known fact that a white hip-hop artist can outSELL black hip hop artists in American, NOT due to skill, but because of sheer racial demographics? What groundbreaking work can he hold up to the pantheon of classics like: By All Means Necessary; Paid In Full; Illmatic; All Eyez on Me, and others of such ilk? That peckerwood is popular because of his race, not his ability ... PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @daTruChosen LMFAO!! all you fags that play the race card on eminem and try to dull down his skills are pathetic, eminem is a high selling artist cuz of his skills and there are black rappers that have sold more than him, as a matter of fact there's only 2 the only 2 that ARE better than him pac and biggie! sheer racial demographics?? wit that rational eminem, vanilla ice, and the beastie boyz should be the top 3 all time selling rappers. now you tell me, are they??

  • @andyeminem23 I agree with you that the color of Eminems skill has nothing to do with how good he is, but 2pac and Biggie aren't the only rappers on his level or higher. As a matter of fact Eminem lyrically is better than Pac and Big but I prefer Pacs subject matter over Eminems. But other rappers who can lyrically hang with him in terms of skills(and some are better) are Canibus, Big L, Rakim, Big Pun, AZ, Nas, Andre3000, Diabolic, Immortal Technique, Eyedea, K-Rino, and Royce da 5'9.
