Jam Sessions isn't really a game, more like a tool. GH and this don't really fit the same niche. This is more freeform, you can create your own music, and whatnot. Guitar Hero is for people who want to play other artist's music.

As a guitarist myself, I find GuitarHero insanely difficult to play as what you play on 5 buttons doesn't correspond to anything like what you play on a real guitar. It took me ages to stop playing the fake guitar like a real guitar and watch what was happening.
