  • YES! I KNOW THIS NOT ASL ...TI IS SEE OK

U ALL JUST TRY Learn SIGN THAN you put in to asl sign OK OK!

  • What is this?

This is SEE - a sign system. Even then it is SEE that I've never seen before. This is not ASL, which is a sign language. HUGE difference. Also, SEE is not used by the majority of the deaf community.

For those of you wishing to communicate with a Deaf individual who uses ASL do not use this as a resource. There are plenty of ASL resources made by Deaf people out there that will be accurate.

  • yes i KNOW! THAT im HOH here i just teaching sign so u can use them in asl sign.

  • @seth1987 that isright deaf people only ues ASL ONLY ......... and Not SEE

  • i really appreciate this, i've been trying to learn asl for a long time, and it's hard to just go out and teach yourself.

how did you come about learning asl?

  • It's not ASL, it is SEE, signed exact English. SEE, is not a language. Please don't confuse this with ASL. Most Deaf do not know SEE.

  • I like what you are doing, going slow for beginners to follow, facial expressions, etc. so not trying to knock you or anything but as an intermediate signer with deaf family- this looks more like SEE than ASL. The grammar is English, not ASL so shouldn't it be labelled as such?

    Like your videos though!

  • Yes! it is ENGLISH i know what im doing come form ENGLISH BOOK

  • This may be a weird question, but are you left handed? I've been looking at a lot of ASL videos and had been wondering if being left vs. right handed would make a big difference or cause any complications when signing. Also, you're very good at your vocalizing =)

  • Signers usually sign with their dominant hand (if you're right handed you'll favor your right hand).

The signs are universal between hands. :]

  • I am new to signing and your videos are REALLY helpful! thank you! And I like that you say the word when you sign it - that helps me a lot! But, I have no idea what the 2nd half of the video said. *smile*

  • Great video. Useful to have connector words.. is, to..etc THANK! SMILE!

End of video good, but sooooo fast! lol!

  • I'm extremly happy to see this video it's just perfect for me, thank you for sharing it with us, it's more than useful!

  • Thank you for the instructional video. I am trying to learn ASL to communicate with my Deaf Sister. I never learned ASL before, because she has some hearing... but I realize that just doesn't fly any more!

I enjoyed the 1st 1/2 of your video. However, the 2nd 1/2 of your video had vocabulary not covered in this video. And it was too fast to follow for a beginner.

I look forward to viewing all your videos and being able to keep up with you - and a Native Deaf signer.

    Thanks!!

  • YOU are every weclome you WILL do fine SMILE

  • enroll in school or get your sister to show you the signs. I'm going to school soon to be an interpreter.

  • WAY COOL SMILE IM HAPPYT YA

  • this is just what I'm looking for. Thank you for taking the time to put this and your other videos together.

  • u speak very well this is very helpful

  • According to some online asl dictionaries and rescources, simpler motions are often used for common frases. However, if I sign according to "English grammar" will most people still be able to understand? Thanks. Very helpful video!

  • Thankyou, My sister is volunteering with a group of young children, some of which are deaf. I can't wait to show her this video. It will be incredibly helpful to both of us. You are a blessing. A.

  • Hi friend :D

I am a police officer, and there is a deaf janitor at one of our bus stations. He often comes into the office to report that there is a fight going on, or that something else is going on that I need to come take care of. I would love to be able to communicate more effectively with him, like asking him what the person looks like, what the person was wearing, what was going on, etc.

I would love for you to make a video with some of these signs. Thank you!!

  • im learning asl

  • WOAH. You signed really fast at the end!! @-)!!!

  • Please continue to make more.. hehe

    :) :)

    Thank YOU!!

    Blessings,

    Stephanie
