i never said i hate blackmore he is a guitar genius and a legend deep purple is not the same without him thats why im a bit pissed off with him because i wanted to see him stay in deep purple and give the youngsters 2day good music to listen to but instead he left to go play folk music when we all know he is a rocker at heart i just wish hed have kept rocking because music today without him is crap
I could never smash any of my guitars. I love my Stratocasters. Each one of them has it's own perso.......guitarinality. I wouldn't smash one just like I wouldn't try to break my own arm, leg ect. I know people do this for show or whatever but I would rather hear another song. I did however watch and listen to this entire video over and over because it's Ritchie Blackmore.
Then I saw him throw it around like a basketball and smash it on the floor and I thought "this ruined piece of shit once belonged to Ritchie Blackmore" Looking back in hindsight,instead of running away to avoid getting smacked in the head by a flying Stratocaster,I should have caught it,as I was 6foot 9",I could have sold it as-is at sothebys.
I ws there,my name is Smitty Gucknun,I met Ritchie in the loading dock,he said he was gonna throw a free guitar at me since I was such a loyal fan. He told me he was gonna knock it around a little then throw it in the crowd to me. He started banging it a little,and I thought " its a little chipped and dented,its still god,its still good" Then I saw a evil look in Ritchies eye as he broke the neck on the camera and I thought " Its not playable,but it can be fixed,its still god its still good"
