OVERPOPULATION IS A FREAKING MYTH. Peddled by neo-nazis who think they have the divine right to decide which of the population gets to live or die. The analogy would be, most jobs are concentrated in the city areas. If our politicans would bother to get out of their airconditioned life and move their fat asses and really "work" (the concept sounds possibly alien to them) to get the jobs over to the provinces and other outlying areas, there would be no need for humancongestion in the cities.
@rkt93 True, If this country really wants development and progress, why would you want to risk the allotment of money for the RH bill? when in fact there are still more obvious problems this country needs to attend to.
Has anyone here watched the ABS-CBN debate between Pro and Anti RH bill? I was a pro RH Bill before, but after the debate, the tables have turned. Why? because I did not like the person in the Pro RH bill side when she said that even Vatican has already this RH bill. The Philippines is different from Vatican! why would you compare two countries that are so different? We don't have to follow other countries' footsteps for us to say that we're doing the right thing.
The Philippines is not Overpopulated, RH bill supporters always say "Look around you, seeing poor families with 6 children and or more". Well, Filipinos do lack discipline within themselves. Why in the hell would you go to Metro Manila with nothing and then have 6 or more children? We need self discipline, not RH Bill!
Clap Clap. short but direct to the point. this video has told it. yes, our population is big but its not a problem. were just unorganized. the message of this video is how we should behave or act towards our life. whoever have thought of this has a brain of excellence
That is the point of this video... People all over have been going to one place all this time and complaining about their location being overpopulated, when in fact, there's plenty of place to go to.... (ehem) Palibhasa, our government is centralized and progress is focused in its capital... So, what does the RH Bill have to do with a country's progress? Self check. :|
@pnoysuede the concept here is that the illusion of overpopulation is created when people stay on one location, even if there is enough space elsewhere. it's just the population densities in urban areas that are high.
and, btw, NO TO RH BILL! we have better things to spend our money for!
@pnoysuede Considering that much of the unoccupied land is barely arable, putting people and labor there would be a great idea. Creates a closer market for the farmers' goods too.
Certainly a better thing than the Mephistophelean deal that moronic RH Bill is going to be. Selling out our future and getting nothing in return.
@gundamzing call the rh bill whatever you want to, it is still supported by the majority anyway. much of unoccupied land barely arable? which part of the country? tell me and be ready to defend your argument. GO RH BILL!
@pnoysuede What majority? The majority of overpaid actors? The majority of corrupt congressmen? You are seriously going to hide behind a majority?
As for arable land, take a look at our map. Aside from the plains of central Luzon and the valleys and plateaus of Southern Mindanao, we don't have a lot of land for large-scale agriculture that would be wasted by public development.
@gundamzing so your geography tells you that the philippines has only arablel lands for large-scale agriculture in central luzon and southern mindanao? then i suggest you go back to school and educate yourself and learn why the mountain ranges of cordillera is the major producer of vegetables in the country. the bill is being supported by the majority. only you and the fascist church think otherwise. flaunting bigotry doesn't change the reality.
The term 'slums' refers to densely populated urban areas caused by crowding and social disorganization. Thus, with organization within the urban areas as well as the agricultural land, there wouldn't be any slums at all. What Filipinos need is discipline through education in order to attain and keep that ideal state of organization
@rkt93 thanks for reminding me the meaning of slums but i already knew the meaning of it ages ago. you surely dont know what you're talking about. i've been in many parts of the country and i saw exactly the same thing. all i can say to you is "be real". your argument doesnt merit another reply. FORWARD PHILIPPINES....GO RH
@pnoysuede if you saw exactly the same thing, then your drive around the city must have been a long one. The reality is that the Philippines is truly a beautiful country with abundant resources. It is rather a lack of access to these resources by the people, rather than just a lack of resources for the people. Only through the population's workforce may we attain greater access to these resources. Develop land, create jobs, educate people-- thats how the country would progress.
Nice vid! Really like it:) I'm from Up andI really appreciate your work:) GJ!
