Im pretty sure hes using X-perl. Im a geared holy pally, and honeslty, if your gonna heal, healbot is a thousand times more effiecient. Just try it :)

wowwiki says, a respawning arm takes the life from the boss, does anyone know why they don't kill the other arm? I mean, the damage they deal would eventually damage the boss and the arm would be off from time to time.

By the way, what will he attack with, when he has no arms left? headbanging?

Or does it count as "no one in melee range" because he can't attack and he'd start doing his breath and that's why they don't cut off the left arm?

Killed him yesterday.

The reason for not killing the second arm is simple, you don't have time for it. When his right arm is up it will grab 3 ppl and squeeze them to death unless you do 450k dmg to the arm in 10 sec or if one of the squeezed ones die.

This will keep you busy for the whole fight. The second arm has an aoe ability which can be healed throw easily.

If you kill both arms he will still hit you with his head, the arms aren't tanked only the head.

The left arm isn't worth the trouble of killing. All it does is some AoE damage that can be healed through, and if you kill it, it will spawn some adds. It's not worth the time, and like Rougezy said, the right arm is enough to worry about.

I beg to differ. He doesn't seem too complicated at all tbh. Have tanks rotating on taunting, kill his right hand when it's up, out-heal his left hand AoE, run from lasers and spank him.

I personally play a lock and I know for a fact I saw 2, at the very least 40points in, Destro locks in there. Soul Fire and Incinerates, most likely Conflages as well. Read patch notes, the current way classes are is changing vastly in the patch!

ignoring the arms is gonna put undue stress on das healers, and the damage you do to the arm is gonna be taken from the boss' health anyway so its really 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other dps wise.

as long as people can switch targets it really shouldnt be an issue.

Kologarn looks big and strong enough to be Aman'thul! If I hadn't have used to play WoW and know the lore, and If I was a nub, I would guess this guy would be the last boss of the game, tue to his incredible mass.
