The fact that there is a cold theme for all his race has to do with puns, just like all the other characters having puns, like the Saiyans as vegetables.

There have been times when I have watched something & thought not very highly of the voice acting in a professional dub, But then I realised, only so much of it is the actor. When I was doing this scene, Nick wanted the voice to sound a certain way, with inflections in different places and stuff like that. When you're an actor, you gotta do what the director says..I can do a better Goku, I just did what I was told
