Joseph Philippe Pierre Yves Elliott Trudeau sent them to Commie China !!! ... in that case we should buy em back......way cheaper then an x-35. I already pay enough fkn Tax.
@Chookiman I checked wiki to confirm my suspicions. Apparently, we did actually maintain a stockpile of AIR-2A Genie air-to-air nuclear rockets until 1984. As well as MGR-1 surface to surface rockets fitted with the US W31 warhead, operated by the 4 Mechanized Brigade Group in West Germany until 1970.
@kevstagino Think of your personal interests in life. Mechanics....electronics....wanna be out in the bush all the time.....like boats....like planes...There is many trades in the CF and quite a few relate to normal civilian jobs even. They are all good. You just need to read about them on the recruiting website they get into detail on each trade. Hope that helps.
Actually, Canada didn't exist at the time. We attacked British forts populated with British soldiers and illiterate fur trappers. Those fur trappers hunted moose to eat and fuck. The spawn of the illiterate fur trappers and the moose are the Canadians, dumb ass. Canadian are half moose, half illiterate fur trapper. Don't you know your own history. Jesus Christ, you are a moron.
Pardon me everyone if a commentor named MrJJackYT shows up on this page please ignore his/her BS and disrespect. this commentor has been going to canadian forces video's and tributes to bash those who have honourably fought and died for us. please don't give them the satisfaction of provoking you. And if you can somehow remove or stop there comments from showing up on these heroes pages I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by everyone. Thank you for yor time.
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to defame CF. I'm just not happy with the fact that most 2nd hand stuff from brits cost us a lot to repair. It's just not ethical to sell defect products.
Most of the RCN, RCAF, and Canadian Army had high expectations with unification. They were disappointed and left. My sister had a pilots license and tried to join Air Command when this commercial came out, but females were not allowed to be pilots at that time.
I never joined the military because 1) I was disabled, and 2) I'd probably get life in front of a firing squad for insubordination or something. This jingle was attention getting, if nothing else.
I met the guy who clamins to have sung this. It was one man's voice doubled and redoubled to make it sound like a whole group. I don't think he was lying to me ... he was a United Church minister. Would they lie????
dont know why everybody bashes those subs, they are actually quite advanced in technology, the probleme is that they were in storage for 3 or 4 years and when they were bought, they didnt take enough money, time, etc to bring them back to operational status, its like everything else with the goverment when it comes to defense purchases, takes way too long, ushually by the time we buy something and get, the next best thing is already on the market
Maritime fleet was big..but today nop...because Chrétien and all Liberal shit reduice on canadian forces..like the projet to built 12x nuclear submarin for buy second hand cheap british sub.
I was agreeing with Jimderkaisser about the reduction in the Royal Canadian Navy's ship capacity, and the scrapping of the nuclear submarine program due to certain people in government. Canada needed those subs to patrol the parts of Canada that are in dispute.
In the late 1980s Their was plans for Canada to Purchase/Build 10-12 Nuclear attack submarines to patrol the arctic waters. However in 1989 the plans were canceled when the Budget was cut.
Awesome! I have had this tune in my head off and on for at least the past 25 years!

@athlon866 I do agree though, but the only thing that was 2nd was the submarines and it was only one that caught fire on the way to Canada.
