This is a pain. I want to be able to upload multiple videos with the HD requirments but, it seems like whenever I want to "fill the screen" as it's called, it takes like 40 minutes to export as a new video. Is there any way to take footage and have it already saved as a video with 1280x 720 settings.
@humxa24 go to Tools, then options and in video properties choose 16:9 aspectratio and when you publish the video make shure to select a format with 16:9 aspect ratio.
Informative.. but what bitrate MP4 should one use if one still wants the vid to stream decently on lower speed broadband (384-512kbps)? And do you know why my MP4 looks "washed out" on the net and in Quicktime, but maintains full colour in Windows Media Player? Thanks for any help.. :)
how do i make my youtube vids cover the whole screen using yt:stretch=16:9 i added into tags but it didnt work, i recorded the screen to make a video (does the screen resolution matter) then i edited it and made it into a video using camtasia using the settings 640x360 after i uploaded the video i added in the tag but it was still in the center of the screen with a black surrounding, how do i fix this?
Hi. I use Vegas movie Studio 9 and when I want to change my video rpopreties, I don't have the option for HDV. I only have NTSC Dv or PAL Dv or Internet. I don't have any HD options/. how do I get those?
PLEASE! THIS IDIOT POSTED IT AND I'M SCARED THAT THIS MIGHT REALLY HAPPEN SO DON'T SEND IT TO ANYMORE VIDEOS.
IM NOT TRYING TO ADVERTISE BUT IM SCARED OF WHAT IT SEES in 1908 a lady named sally rusa was in the woods looking for a dog until a ghost came and killed her so if ur reading this u will find a bloody body in your closet hanging there haunting you and will kill you and ur family and if u want to stop this just sends this to 6 videos in 30 mins or this will happen good luck
what if you make a cartoon on macromedia flash and want to edit it on Windows Movie Maker? it just says the file is not valid or corrupted no matter what i try
If you want widescreen with Windows Movie maker, first of all, go up to the "Tool" and select "Options." A new Window will appear. Select the "Advanced" tab and look for the "Video Properties" row. For your "Video Format," select "PAL," and for the "Aspect Ratio," select "16:9." Click OK, and then do your thing. =D
I'm using Vista, hopefully it's not too different from the Windows XP Movie Maker.
export in 480 * 720, thats how it shows on youtube. my screen res. is 720p, and i still see the rest of the crap as well as the vid at the same tie. Thus: its not 720 i/p.
I use a normal Canon Powershot A630 Digital Camera to record my videos in, and when I add the video to Windows Movie Maker and make the screen to Widescreen the video doesn't follow and stays in the same format it was with making the black boxes on the edges. Any suggestions??? :D
PAl uses better sharper image, but if you're putting a movie on a DVD for an American DVD player use NTSC. USA uses NTSC and Europe Uses PAL. Google into it.
Can you show us how to make so that when we import 16:10 videos into Premiere it doesn't clip the edges, and rather just puts a blank spot on the top/sides(idk which it would be).
I did try getting it to use 1680x1050 while exporting, but adobe video encoder said there was an error, and I had to go with 1280x720 with the edges of the video clipped off.
this means, if i record a video in game with FRAPS, with the game settings 1280x720, and then upload the video without changing the resolution at all, the widescreen will be filled and i am able to take advantage of 720 HD?
You don't. You are going to have to use some software like Sony Vegas, Quicktime, Divx, etc. that support the high res formats. The best moviemaker will do is 720x480.
Funnily enough my first tests ended up falling short, so I took it to an extreme (1920 x 1080) with 100 MB for a 2:30 video, and the quality (in &fmt=22) turned out amazing, but screen cropping, so I'd reccomend using howard's settings.
I think in Sony Vegas there's a "MainConcept AVC/AAC" codec. It should be similar to H.264. I'm going to be looking into their compression methods and post another video shortly.
how can i make my videos HD? i added &fmt=22 and i got nothing .. but i added &fmt=18 in turned into high quality..so my question is when can i add &fmt=22 ???? plz answer
that can just be done on videos already in hd when they were uploaded. even tho the videos are uploaded in hd you dont play them in hd automaticly and thats when u add &fmt=22
This video rescued me! Thankyou!

ntsc for Youtube and dvds.
pal for europe.

NTSC is used in the US and in Japan, the images are at best 30 im/s (in reality 29.7 im/sec)
